Also the setup process was simple and I completed it in the store parking lot in less than 5 minutes! Great connectivity! And the process was flawless.

Don’t waste your money

Attempted to use for 3 weeks but got fed up and trashed it. Worked 1 time out of 5, rebooted on every startup cycle, and mostly just refused to connect. Wired CarPlay works reliably in my F150 so I’m back to using that.

Posted .Hi! this is happening because you still have your vehicle's Bluetooth on. Forget the vehicle's Bluetooth and only connect to the CPW and the device will work perfectly.

Long story short having an apple carplay factoy in a vehicle is probably the way to go vs aftermarket stereo!

Returned.

The screen often times is malformed and very blurry and discolored I have to unplug and plug in again several times before the display is clear

Solved my faulty car play problem

They no longer worked with carplay. I was able to plug this device into the usb in my center console and now carplay connects automatically when I get in my car.

Could not change volume from any controls, even the iPhone. Troubleshooting did not evolve. Vehicle was 2023 Lexus IS350.

I was having to plug it in in order for my Apple or Google maps to show up on my built in screen.

It would eventually re-set, sometimes15+ minutes later. Not worth the trouble. I returned it.
