THIS MOVIE WAS NOT AS FUNNY AS I THOUGHT OR EXPECTED

It was ok...but not as funny as I expected it to be.

Semi funny goofy comedy. it was an ok movie for us.

I feel that the hype this movie received led to a big down fall. While I am a huge fan of both ice cube and Kevin it was not their best work. Yea I did laugh bit was mostly asleep both times I've tried to watch this.

Expected kevin hart and ice cube to make a comedy movie not a sleeper movie. very boring plot. i would've waited til it came out on netflix. there were no really funny parts that i can remember!

Movie was not nearly as funny as the stand alone trailer clips. Didn't get this on sale so it's not really a great buy. Better left as a red box rental.

The film was directed by Tim Story (Think Like a Man) and written by Greg Coolidge, Jason Mantzoukas (The League), Phil Hay, and Matt Manfredi. The story is pretty simple; it follows a security guard Ben (Kevin Hart) who must prove himself to his girlfriend's brother, top cop James (Ice Cube). Ben rides along with James on a 24-hour patrol of Atlanta. I found this film very funny and when Kevin Hart was allowed within the script there were some pretty heartfelt moments. Watching the trailers for this movie, it looked like a decent movie that would give me few chuckles. Boy, was I wrong...this movie was absolutely hysterical. I can't recall the last time I laughed out loud that much and that often during a movie. This movie will NOT disappoint!!

Hello. Although many cop partner buddy movies have been made, this one does stand out. Of course it's funny and has action but at the same time it has a lot of original elements. I didn't think I would like this movie so much, but after seeing it I ended up buying it. It's deathly worth checking out at least once. Thanks
