I wondered how it all started as referenced by the origional series. No masks and great facial intensity so as not to be dependent on words for emotion.

A surprisingly good movie. Action packed with great character development. The Story is well thought out, and well directed. A solid movie through out.

The original planet of the apes is one of the greatest Sci-fi movies ever. The numerous sequels however are nothing but cheap cash ins. Rise however is not. It is a true successor to a great legacy.

This was a great update to what has been a fairly hokey franchise over time. James Franco does a surprisingly good job with this material and the digital apes are fantastic. Looking forward to the sequel.

Movie shows how an Ape named Caesar through genetic engineering will spell man kinds eventual doom. Movie has great special effects and a simple plot.

Forget about Blu Ray .. 4K is taking over!!! The clarity of individual hairs, skin texture, etc. is really amazing.

Saw this in the theater when it came out and couldn't wait to add it to my movie library. Picture quality was perfect! Priced just right!

I liked this movie due to something different and it was well done. I think it could've had some things done differently, But in the end, I would recommend it.

Okay so now Ceasar is a whole new kinda ape, and he's definitely doing things his way. Lots to contemplate in this movie in the struggle between man and beast. Or is that between beast and beast ?

Hey, I like sci-fi and fantasy type movies. But always have been a fan of the Apes from the 1st movies and the tv series. I like these newer versions ALOT. 'Nough said!

John Lithgow and James Franco were good but the apes were better. CGI was great. Solid start to the series. Bought these to get ready for War of the Planet of the Apes.

Another solid apes film. Definitely a must have in preparation for the War for the Planet of The Apes film that is on the way.

You have got to see this movie. With the next movie in theatres right now, you have to see this first. Great makeup and effects. Great story line.

I really like this movie a lot. It is a great prequal and I'm super excited for the next movie being released later this year. The price was prefect.
