We like both of these movies. We have seen them several times so we decided to buy them so we could watch them anytime we want to. They are good movies that our family enjoys watching together.

I went to the movies to see this movie & after the first five minutes I knew that I was going to buy it the day it came out . I ended up pre-ordering it. This was to me the best movie of 2014.

This was a great new vision for the Planet of the Apes franchise, a more relevant origin. Andy Serkis is pretty much the king of motion capture. James Franco and John Lithgow are always lovable.

Good movie to add to your collection if you have one or thinking of starting one. Still need to add Dawn of the Planet of the Apes eventually but I would recommend watching this one first.

This movie was dirt cheap for Black Friday so I couldn't resist picking it up with the other movies in order to complete the series. It is a great movie!

A retelling/reboot that actually works! Great movie from beginning to end. Had lots of heart and made you care for the digital apes...lol And the steelbook is pretty sweet!

A really cool new take on Planet Of The Apes. It happens on Earth this time, and the apes are made intelligent by a man made drug meant to restore brain function in humans with disease. Over all the story and visuals really do make this movie great.

I saw the second one before i saw this one but on black friday i bought this so i could watch it and it was amazing, you dont have to watch this first but it makes more sense if you do.

Great to see how the apes originally became smart. Viewing this again after Dawn of the planet of the apes you can see some of the different apes that have large roles in the new movie.

The movie came in great shape. I got this as a gift for my mother for Christmas. I'm sure that she will love it. If you're a fan of the reboot of this series, this movie is a must have.

This is a great movie that really does the original Planet of the Ape films justice. The story of how Caesar came to be has some really heartbreaking parts that are hard to watch, but it's definitely worth it to sit through the entire movie.
