I saw it at the movie theater and knew within 10 minutes that I wanted it on dvd, so I would be able see it again. The scenery is beautiful. The plot is very close to the bible.

Loved the cultural, historical & biblical accuracy of A non-believer Roman Centurian who became a believer from his own search. Facing The Resurrected Messiah himself! Wonderful!

Many Christian films these days are poorly acted. This one has great, well-known actors, action, and moving scenes. Great perspective of the resurrection from a doubter.

Even if you're not a religious person, you can still appreciate this film. You can approach this film from an historic point of view. All of the actors right for their roles.

Good movie about the life of Jesus and his followers told from the viewpoint of a Roman soldier. If you like religious movies, this would be a good one to see.

Well acted and I like that the story began at this part of the crucifixion. Amazing role playing during this film.

Loved this movie - my favorite Christian flick (along with The Shack). Caught a great sale too - 2 for $15! Coupled Risen with Magnificent Seven. Awesome deal.

Solid plot, performances and authenticity take this film far above the expected 'faith based' genre offering. Anyone of any background will appreciate Risen!

I didn't have the highest expectations of this movie. Just bought it because of 4K and HDR. But also the movie itself wasn't bad. I enjoyed watching it.

The situation was true but not sure on the main subject was ever mention in the bible or in history. Still had a lot of truth behind the story line.

We enjoyed this movie. It gave us some different things to think about. Very much worth seeing. Best Buy is an excellent place to purchase the movies you want.

Really liked this movie it was from the perspective of a Roman officer. It was better than the previous so called biblical movies that have recently come out.

Without giving away too much (hopefully): This is a great Christian movie from the Roman viewpoint. With a twist at the end that I did NOT expect.
