Good movie overall. Excellent picture and audio. I loaned it to my neighbor and he liked so much that he went and bought his own bluray.

RISEN IS A FAITH-BASED MOVIE AS SEEN THROUGH THE EYES OF A ROMAN TRIBUNE.

I am a history fanatic so I liked this movie from this prospective. The acting is first rate, sets are great and the CG is minimal.

This is a great portrayal of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Well written, not "preachy" or smarmy. Great writing and acting!
