Transmission to radio is weak, so the clarity is poor.

Thank you for your review. For best sound, we recommend turning the volume up on your device and then matching the volume on your radio. We also recommend finding the station with white noise. Please feel free to contact tech@bracketron.com, one of our representatives would be happy to help you. Thanks, Bracketron Support Bracketron

The Roadtripper works good for streaming music. It does not work for handsfree cell phone use. I had to turn up the volume to max on cell phone, car radio, and Roadtripper to even hear a whisper. Even then, a back ground noise was even louder. I returned it Best Buy.

If there is a lot of static and the signal is weak, the connection can usually be fixed by turning up the volume on your phone. It is made to work for handsfree calls using the green and red answer and hangup buttons. If that does not resolve it, we will work with you to find a solution that meets your needs. Please reach out to [email protected], and one of our representatives will be happy to assist you. Thanks, Bracketron Support Bracketron

    Static to say the least

This is a terrible product. It produces nothing but static no matter how to attempt to move it. Comes with only one preset station for a radio connection and the charging ports as years behind in speed. I strongly recommend moving on to another product...

Hi! The most common source of static is that people do not have the music volume turned all the way up on their phone once connected to Bluetooth. Since the transmitter is trying to broadcast a radio signal to your car's stereo, this is the difference between sending a weak signal and a strong (clear) signal. You can also adjust radio bandwidth to see if there is interference on that end. (Hold red button until it flashes, then adjust with +/-). Press and hold to skip stations faster if desired. Another source of potential static is using the rear defrost at the same time on cars that integrate their antenna there. If none of these approaches fix the issue, please contact [email protected] for warranty and replacement assistance. Thanks, Bracketron Support Bracketron

I purchased this to be hands free compliant but if the radio in my truck is not on the station on the transmitter it doesn't transmit through the speakers. I would have to change the radio station when my phone rings to hear the caller.

This works well to use my phone in the car; the microphone works well, and I like how the audio goes through my stereo. I also play audio books from Amazon on my phone through this on trips. Works great!

Quality of connection and sound is really good. I like the 2 USB port feature. Helps for having a charging cord. Only drawback is the on/off button is hard to feel to slide on or off.

It does play through the radio, though the sound quality is poor. The link to my phone as a hand free device, people I talk to can not hear me. The feedback is louder that the Bluetooth broadcast.

Hi there! Try turning up the Bluetooth volume on your phone when it's connected. This establishes a clear broadcast for your radio. Adjust the speaker volume in your car from there. Don't hesitate to email [email protected] if you have any further questions. Thanks, Bracketron Support Bracketron
