This is the second type of Bluetooth device I have purchased. I chose it because it was compact. The sound quality is not great. You have to keep the sound low to keep it from being static filled.

Bought it open-boxed ($10 cheaper). No problems. Let’s me play my music from my phone like intended but the sound isn’t as powerful/loud as my actual car stereo plays music even with my phone volume and car volume at max. Probably loud enough for most people though. I just like to listen to my music really loud sometimes, especially on noisy highways. But still happy with it for now until I upgrade my stereo.

It’s really easy to set up the only reason I give it 4 stars is that it can lose connection which didn’t happen to me before

The converter works pretty good with both BlueTooth and hardwired (headphone jack). My car only has an AM/FM receiver and a CD player so I couldn't use a cassette adapter to play music from my iPod (2nd gen). This device is a low cost solution but doesn't sound as crisp and clear as true 'hardwired' solution like a direct cable or cassette adapter. If you're looking for a low cost solution this adapter will meet that need along with more connection options.

This has proved to be very disappointing. It is difficult to stay connected to the phone (and only works with one phone at a time), keeps popping out from the convenience outlet, and provides very low level of power to the USB outlet. It is better than nothing, but the old Jabra and other systems worked much better. (Ours got old and worn out after five years, so we had to replace it.)

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear about your FM Transmitter. Unfortunately, you can only have one phone connected at a time. As for the low level of power ,each USB port is a 1.0 AMP output. However, if you charge one device, it will charge at 2.1 AMP output. Please feel free to contact [email protected], if you have any questions.

I have an old car and needed a way to stream music from my phone without updating the stereo. This did the trick! The double USB ports are a bonus. The only reason I can't give this product a 5-star review is because the instructions are horrible. They did a horrible job of explaining how to navigate the options. I had to figure it out by holding different buttons. However, there are so few buttons that it didn't take long.

The Bluetooth works beautifully. The cord worked, and then didn't, but what do I need that for? (The faulty cord is the only reason I give this four stars.) It's wonderful to listen to my own music, commercial-free, in my car, anytime, anywhere. We've had three different types of products to run music through the car radio; this is the best so far.

Bought this for my 2000 tundra. Tape deck doesn't work so this was my only other option. Bluetooth connects seamlessly. Sound is decent with minimal static. I unscrewed the antenna to reduce more of the static. Overall happy with the product. 10/10 would buy again.

Works well if you can find a radio station, some stations the broadband tries to cut it out. Not recommended for a long road trips where there is no radio waves. Has great sound through the system and a lot less expensive than a brand new car stereo system. And a lot nicer than the ones that go into a tape deck! gg

Easy to use, cheap, wireless and has a few features like wireless calling when I'm on the road and want to avoid touching my phone itself. Everything can be worked by touching the device itself.

the sound off this is terrible that is if you can find a band that works in your car to send it to your radio, I had to keep messing with it to get it to work. The signal would go in and out while I was driving and even if I got it to hold a good signal it sounded like muffled distorted low crap.

Hey there Ben, this is Kaleb with Bracketron. Sorry to hear you had some trouble with the audio clarity using the Roadtripper. I recommend using a radio channel that doesn't currently broadcast audio in your area (therefore, choose a station that has a lot of static). Once you tune your Roadtripper to this station, there will not be any competing stations and it should be clear as day. For more help please reach out to us at [email protected] and we'd be happy to assist you. Thanks, Bracketron Support Bracketron

I have A 2007 Nissan Altima and it works well. You have to find the best fm radio station but for what it is and does it is no big deal. It receives calls but the other person on the line can hear and echo. I mostly Use it for music.

I first bought a more expensive brand and took it back b/c it was six hookup instead of wireless and just overall wasn’t what I expected out of the brand it was and the price I paid. When the associate helped me locate this one, I was skeptical, but I’ve had it for a little over a month maybe and it’s exactly what I wanted! It’s a great size, wireless, and even the talk free works to my expectations.

I recently drove to Dallas and back. Wanting to hear an audiobook through my radio, I went to Best Buy and bought a Bracketron - Roadtripper Car Audio Bluetooth FM Transmitter for $29.99. After calling my son from the parking lot, he helped me install it and get it working. A bonus is the capability to talk on the iPhone through my speaker system. Excellent!
