I love my TiVo. I cut the cord and said goodbye to the cable company.

Most of the shows we watch are on network TV, so we wanted to cancel satellite TV but didn't want to give up the DVR. We are very happy with the DVR of this unit and the smart apps. I wish that it would include the Google Movie app like Roku does.

I receive excellent quality with my Digital antenna, and with my TIVO DVR, I can record all my favorite network programs, and the remote is so user friendly. 4 months without cable will pay for my TIVO - after that I will be saving $80 per month!

Everything they say is true. It is a must for cutting the cord.

Wife and I purchased this Tivo for the fact that we watch a lot of Netflix, Hulu, and basic TV. We love that we can record any show and watch at a later date for our favorite shows so we don't miss a think. Also, there is no monthly fee!

It's awesome that TiVo came out with this OTA version with no monthly fees which is a big money saver over time. All of the streaming services are great including Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, and many more. I especially like the Plex app! The new Season Pass is a big update from the old TiVo. It's pretty amazing how it pieces together entire seasons of your favorite shows using not only the OTA broadcast but also your streaming services to bring them all together into a single view. Same with the unified search which searches them all. I'm so happy to not be paying Dish $120/m any longer! My only complaint is I think TiVo needs to do a user interface overhaul to be more visual and easier to navigate. Today IMO this is the only way to go for cord cutters if you live in an area in range of broadcast TV.

Deducting one star for awkward setup that takes much longer than it should. Otherwise a really good DVR that makes OTA experience as good as cable based systems. Has nice feature like series recordings and commercial skip.

We don't have cable, so the TIVO allows us to move from the VCR (and the annoying VHS tapes) to more current technology. Now we can see the schedule online, record multiple shows etc. Life is great! Wish we knew about TIVO earlier.

I like this Tivo because it included the subscription for life. Though it is OTA model I was able to connect it with my WOW cable and bring in a ton of channels. I can record and scan programs like cable without cable $$.

If you have a job and enjoy watching certain shows this for you. With the mini we also have a tv where we did not have an antenna jack. We are using Ethernet over power to allow the mini to talk with the ota unit.

Unit was easy to set up and get running. Glad I made decision to go OTA antenna paired with this unit. Will probably buy remote unit for bedroom as well.

This TiVo device is awesome. When I cut the cable and went to antenna/OTA I was looking for a DVR and guide service work similar to my DirecTV subscription. I could not be happier with the quality of this product.

If you want to cut the cord, but need that cable-box-feel, this is for you. It records, has great guide to channel surf, set up wish list. Everything my cable box did (plus more) without the monthly bill.
