I love my TiVo OTA. I had a Channel master DVR and had nothing but problems with it. This TiVo DVR also has a lot of features the Channel master didn't have.

I can't say enough good things about the TIVO Roamio OTA. It was easy to hook up to our antenna, the DVR is much better than what we had with cable and the ability to use streaming Apps is an added bonus!

I've cut the cord for over 5 yrs. I've owned two channel master dvr's prior to purchasing the tivo. This DVR is definitely on a different level. Easy to use and the skip mode and quick mode are amazing options.

Pro's: Great searching features, incorporates multiple streaming and live TV options together, One Pass is a great feature for recording and streaming. The DVR has plenty of plenty of space and TIVO's software is intuitive and makes sense to use. Made the switch to OTA from cable easier. Con's: No HBONow! This took a star from the device, plus there are some other streaming services that are not on it. Kids searching was removed from the menu, this was very useful and needs to be restored. May still need a Roku or Game console to fill in the holes.

Needed to replace a Tivo that stop working. Best Buy did not have one in stock at the Midwest City location but located one and had it delivered to them for me to pick up. Great little DVR.

I cut the cord and got rid of cable. This product was a must as it still allows me to record shows and acts as a hub for netflix and amazon. I love it.

This product is the key to our cutting the cable. Using it we will be able to watch the sames things we have watched over cable but at MUCH less cost.

This is the best for cord cutters. TiVo is still the best DVR out there. Just make sure you have a good antenna.

The good: Over-the-air programming (pay in advance) 4 shows at once. Generally easy to locate programs. The bad: Very expensive up-front payment. The ugly: The remote. It is too easy to use it upside-down. Worst of all is that too much is menu-driven. For example, if you want closed captions for one program, you have to dive deep into the menus to get to it. There should be a button right on the remote, like on our TV remote, where it is easy to switch on and off. I don't know what reliability is yet. Have owned only a few months

Because we do not have cable TV, we wanted something that we could record programs. We went to Best Buy to look at another product which was online (Channel Master) but this item was not in the store. One of the store associates showed this TiVo unit to us which we purchased. It does a wonderful job for us. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the instructions were very limited. We did receive an email telling us we could have the geek squad show us how to use it. Unfortunately that email came almost 10 days after our purchase. By that time we had figure out how to use it by going online. Even online the instructions we not the best.

We cut cable and got this before Rio Olympics. The DVR is easy to use and has no service contract. Drawback will be initial cost. Will be paid off in four months for not paying for cable though.

Using it with a outdoor Omni-directional HDTV antenna. Plugged in and worked immediately. Great clear picture and integrates directly into Amazon, hulu and Netflix. Very happy with the purchase.

We have dropped cable and have begun to use antennae and streaming for our tv viewing. The TiVo roaming has mad e it so easy and NO monthly fees . That is what we were trying eliminate.

Tuner not strong enough my TV tuner picks up more station than Tivo wanted to record shows but the station I watch most doesn't come in well have to watch it live through TV tuner otherwise it does what it says it does

There is no monthly charge on this TiVo model. Very easy to set up all recording functions. Better than any cable company box I've used.

I've been a TIVO user for over 10 years. I had 5 TIVO units in my home, but my cable company jacked my cable price up over 50 dollars a month, so I cut the cord and only have internet service. I installed an antenna in my attic and bought my first TIVO OTA. So far it’s a great piece of equipment. It records all my normal TV shows from the antenna and it incorporates most of my streaming services. With this unit, I really do not miss cable. The only thing that would improve on this unit would be the inclusion of a SlingTV app along with Netflix, HULU, and Amazon Prime. I would suggest buying the $399 unit as with that there is no monthly fee to use it..

This little box does everything I want it to do. I have all my local channels with guide to know what is on or coming on. Also has Netflix Amazon Hulu and so many other apps. Love it.

I love that I can record, view over the air free channels and streaming channels via 4 separate tuners without much input from me after the initial set up. TOTALLY WORTH the price.

Great ota dvr lots of options,I have added 2 mini's and it's like i never left satellite tv,I have hulu and netflix and vudu apps on it which give me a lot of option for tv.
