You must have over the air TV reception, my antennae hangs on the wall behind the TV, and internet. I get everything I want. The only problem is that as the only product of it's kind the company cannot keep up with the demand. Don't give up, my friend got one directly from TiVo this week.

We love this. It is great to record so many shows.

My husband & I decided to cut the expensive satelite TV bill & use a over-the-air antenna instead to cut our monthly household costs. We wanted to record our favorite shows so we did our research which resulted in us buying this DVR. It works great! We've had it one month already & has almost paid for itself!!

Purchased the Tivo Roamio as my "cut the cable" campaign. Works great with many feature I like. Currently getting 41 Detroit-area channels. I really like the 4 program recording capacity and the channel-strength metering feature. Tivo subscription is included which is nice. Very happy I purchased this unit.

If you want to cut the cord but still want to record OTA programming and fast forward through the commercials without a monthly fee this unit is for you. It is also very user friendly with your video streaming options like Hulu etc.

The TIVO Romio works great for recording OTA shows. The guide layout and simplicity of the remote make the Tivo a great addition to purchase. Although the streaming apps are limited it does include Netflix, Vudu, youtube, Amazon Prime and HBO Go along with a handfull of others. Nice item overall.

I like the multiple tuners, free TV & 1TB of storage...Best of all is the all inclusive price w/o monthly fee. All was well until the internal started to whine...At first, it was once a week then daily and finally on an hourly basis. Glad I purchased additional warranty through BB. They could/would not fix so I received a refund at original purchased price because BB no longer has a subscription-free TiVO OTA model. The new model is cheaper, but with the subscription so it's a wash in the end. Apparently, you can replace the fan yourself if your TiVo is out of warranty already...Just Google it or search on Youtube.

If you do not have or do not want to have a cable bill, buy a roamio ota. If you don't still have an old boom antenna (which works great) in place, best buy has a variety of digital antennas to choose from.

This TIVO device works as advertised. I may be missing something, but I had hoped to be able to record from streaming services but I cannot figure out how to do that. Oh well...it allowed me to cut the cord and get off cable and the TIVO seems cable-like to use.

So far working as advertised and capturing tv shows over the air. Only complaint is that it has HBO Now not HBO Go support which you need a cable subscription to use. Sort of counter productive to the entire point in of the product and cord cutting....

I have had my TiVo OTA for about a month now and it works great. It gives a list of all possible channels in your area, then you turn off the ones you don't receive. I set mine up with a moca network and a mini, and it works great. Good streaming options also.

Great unit. Works like it was supposed to. I was able to get customer support and complete setup. It has all the functions of my cable without the cost. Can't wait to call cable and cut them off!

good features for saving and later viewing. i am concerned that it never seems to be off and wonder about electric usage. i have not tried streaming as i am strictly roof top antenna and no paid viewing. remote control is outstanding.

I'd been using an Xbox One with Hauppauge tuner for the past year, and it was working fine. I decided to step up to the Tivo Roamio for DVR functionality, but the reception on this device is horrible. Using the same same Clearstream 2v positioned at the same location, reception on the Roamio is gets interrupted with blocky squares and broken audio. To test, for a given station I would try on the Roamio until problems arose (this happened quickly), then remove the RG6 and plug it into Xbox (problems would disappear and not return). I tried adding an attenuator to my setup, but no difference.

We are very pleased with the TiVo Roamio. We recently left Direct TV and were looking for a way to record over the air shows with no monthly payments. The TiVo Roamio has been just the ticket. It also allows viewing from Hulu.

Works well and the Skip Mode and Quick Mode functions are great. Unit is sometimes slower than I would like, for instance when pulling up a recorded show it can take several seconds, but otherwise it has met all of my expectations.

I was skeptical at first, but tried it out and was impressed! I paid the $350, so I never have to pay the monthly $15 fee. I love being able to record all my favorites shows and having a TV Guide with the channels. This will pay for itself!

I do not have cable and could only record one show with my VCR and large analog TV. This OTA TiVo records four shows simultaneously and can fast forward and reverse with ease and connects to a digital TV. I'm completely satisfied.

I purchased this product to be able to record my local subdigital channels. This product has exceeded my expectations. I love the OnePass feature. It has picked up programs with my favorite actors that I was not aware were airing.

I loved TiVo thru my cable provider...I've since cancelled cable and mainly stream my shows. I wanted access to free HD local programming so decided to go the HD antenna route with TiVo it is working out just as expected...love it!
