This was my favorite rendition of Robin Hood ever!

This is a very interesting take on the classic Robin Hood. I totally enjoyed this movie, great action/fighting scenes and the visuala makes it so entertaining from the beginning to the end. Jamie Foxx, Taron Egerton and Ben Mendelsohn performances are superb. I've seen some bad reviews, some that I don't want to mention and mostly people disappointed because it's a different story, too modern or not the correct period, Robin used a recurve bow BS, the clothing and haircuts not correct, etc...c'mon, really? He says up front in the beginning: "This is not the story you know..."

I really wanted to like this movie. But, it was only so/so. The action scenes were good. However, the story lagged behind and was clunky. Still entertaining, just don't get your hopes up.

My issue was with my first disc that I purchased. While watching the 4K version, the disc messed up in the same place each time during chapter 8 about midway and unstuck itself around the beginning of chapter 9. Took it out and used canned air 2 times. Both times, it messed up in the spot. Took it in and returned it and the next disc didn’t have that issue, thankfully! Past that, it’s an entertaining movie and a bit different than its predecessors. Thought Jamie Fox did a great job in it!

The movie and its storyline was good. the clothing and time sensitive piece of it was out of context. I see why it did not do well at the movies. No Kevin Costner definitely.

Interesting take on robin hood. Just another 4K on the rack.

I'm a biog fan of both Taron Egerton and Robin Hood movies, so I had high hopes for this movie. I was disappointed. It's not horrible, but I expected more.

I saw this movie and was taken aback by the changing of the tale again. I liked some changes but overall didn't get into the characters as with all other versions.

This movie kind of tried to be the new hip version they did with King Arthur... which I liked a whole lot more. Not a bad movie... good acting... just more modern

It's a different take on the story we all know its special effects and action scenes are cool. The story is different not bad but not great worth a watch.

Not in my top two of Robin Hood movies but a decent movie on its own right, would recommend for a possible renting or buying if it is discounted!

A lot of Hollywood license taken in this one. The story doesn't come close to any part of the original story with the exception of a few names.

I read the reviews prior to my purchase and I was anticipating an action packed movie with a complete rewrite of the original story. I am most pleased with the final product. I found the movie very suspenseful as I was watching the story unfold without knowing what to expect since it doesn't follow the original story. The action is very good and exciting along with great actors to make a great film. I enjoyed it very much.

It was good but it could have been a little more.. and one of the characters had on earth shoes. I don’t believe Earth shoes we introduce yet.

It was an okay movie. Way different take on the story. The action was good, but I think I'm to traditionalist for this spin on the story.

The writing was pretty mediocre. Luckily Egerton is entertaining in most of his movies. Some action sequenced salvaged the movie.

I think this movie was better to watch in the Theaters. It falls short compared to the other Robin Hood movies, especially the ones with Kevin Costner and Russell Crowe. This is a grittier and more brutal version of Robin Hood and portrays the sign of the times - during the Crusades and Medieval times. Ben Mendelsohn steals the show as the brutal and ruthless Sheriff of Nottingham.

Not a bad film, just not a very good one. Tried updating it a bit to much with lots of unnecessary special effects. Mediocre at best.

This is the new millennium version of Robin Hood and is as exciting as all of previous versions made. And action fans who have not seen any Robin Hood movies should not be disappointed. With its well choreographed action, visual effects, and an updated story this is a must for any action aficionado. An epic for the new generation.

The movie is ok. The chemistry is fine and the action and fight scene is ok. Looking for me to the storyline.
