Not the greatest for the director, Russell Crowe or Cate Blanchet. However, it is worth the viewing if you like Robin Hood, England and historical fiction.

Great cast with a good story line, lots of action and some what believable, another movie that can be watch many times and still be good!

Watched both the regular version and the Directors Cut that come on this DVD and really loved the Directors Cut version! Great price and great movie.

this movie is good for what it is but to me it comes off as a little bit Odd as the Robin Hood Story...

Ridley Scott does it again. This is a swashbuckling action romp. The direction is superb and Russel Crowe turns in a helluva performance.

Time for a Family Night movie. Its a must have in your movie collection. We love this movie so much, we watch it all the time.

This version is definitely not the Kevin Costner remake. It has style and action. There aren't lingering dual moments.

I say sequel because I love the original Prince of Thieve with Kostner but you just can't go wrong with Russell!

Wanted to fell what it would be like to be robin hood watch this movie and then think about it. It takes you back in time, lots of fun to watch.

This is a really interesting origin story for the Robin Hood many of us are familiar with. I found this and the film's historical context very intriguing. Performances are solid and action is decent too. It can drag at moments and it get like the violence was toned down a little too much. I bought it on a whim as a Ridley Scott fan and the price was right. Glad I did. It was worth it.

Some people did not enjoy it but i did. I am a big Crowe fan. It kept me entertained, which is all I want from a movie

Directed by Ridley Scott so it's kind of like a Gladiator version of Robin Hood. So if you liked Gladiator you should like this movie.
