Robocop seemed much more professional and 'robot-like' in the original movie. I liked that. This new Robocop just seems kind of like a dumb cop to me. It's still a pretty good remake.

Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton and Samuel Jackson, are a great supporting cast in this movie. The action is phenomenal with the new Robo Cop. This blu-ray is a must have in your library.

The reboot Robocop is a pretty decent reboot that delivers on action. Sound and visuals are amazing on blu-ray. Just would've like to see more blood and violence like in the original.

Most remakes are pretty terrible. They stray away from the storyline but this remake stuck to the story and even gave us insight on what he looked like inside the suit thanks for this

This movie was not as good as the first Robocop. The story was different and maybe shouldn't be compared. There were parts that were kind of slow, but the action sequences were great.

If you go into it with an open mind, not expecting it to be just like the original, you will love the movie. The only complaint I had was during a lot of the action scenes, they did the shaky camera thing to make it look like more movement, makes it look not as professional than if it had been done with smooth filming. Looking forward to a sequel!

Well, I wasn't expecting that! This was one of those movies that you really want to see, like Godzilla it reminds you of old times. The new suit is great....too much use of the black color in it but hopefully if they make a new one it will be just the regular suit since that's how it ended (spoiler, lol) The metalpack is great and over all very satisfied and happy to see Best Buy making customers happy with their awesome service.

I watched the original Robocop movies from Blockbuster on VHS tapes and they were great (well at least the 1st one was). This new version I was skeptical of (since we all compare old to new) but was not disappointed. It's holds true to the original 80's version just in a newer updated package with a similar but different story. Glad they didn't steer to far from the original. Pick up a copy today!

Not really a reboot as much as it is a update of the original. The first one was a product of the times when it came out and this one is trying to do the same. The actors really hit their marks here and did a great job and it really showed that his body is really just like any other prosthetic. They never really explained why they kept the hand but other then that, the action scenes were great. Good addition to my collection.

First of all, I enjoy Robocop, but was never a diehard fan of the original. I think the premise of the movie has more potential than the actual execution of the film's plot. A lot of time is spent developing the character and his new existence (understandably), but by the end of the moving I was hoping for more action against the machines. In today's age special effects are common, and I just feel they could've done more (unlike the original where it was much more difficult). All in all, I'd say it is an average flick.

it was good but i felt something was missing. cant put my finger on it. probaboly not as gritty as the original. crime was never a clean situation. pg 13 water downed everything

Well this Robocop is just like all the others. Sarts off boring but then the action begins later in the movie it becaomes a little more interesting. They graphics are not really all that good. I think maybe they need to start with a new plot becasue it seems that you know what to expect on all the Robo Cops movies. They need to make it more challenging to keep the person who is watching it want to keep watching. I think this movie is overrated. I really would not feel comfortable recommending this movie to anyone.

Loved the original and this one is almost quite as good. Enjoyed the references to the old movie and you can't beat having Michael Keaton in any movie! Go watch it :)

Really like the film, thought it was quite good, but they should have gone ahead with an "R" rating as sometimes the film seems a bit tame, especially compared to the original.

I loved the original Robocop and I thought this would stink, like many remakes do. It was pretty good, but you can't beat Dick Jones and the criminal gang from the original.

As a remake of the old one it is alright ,it dwells more on the human side of Robocop and the problems that happens when merging a man and a machine. It has a so so ending .

I was expecting an overall copy of the original, but that was not the case. It was better than the original...liked the way the story unfolded and how the movie was made.

And I was a big fan of the original, back in the day. Joel Kinnaman was an excellent choice for the lead. I'm glad to see him getting bigger roles since "The Killing".

Good movie with a lot of action sequences. The sound was really good with my system and the video quality was excellent as well. This is a movie that I recommend getting.
