When this movie came out, my mother brought my younger brother and I to the theatres to see it. Boy, did we not know how violent this was going to turn out. And knowing my mother, if she knew she probably wouldn't have brought my brother (7yo) and myself (11yo) at the time. Hahaha, anyway, I'm glad the 20th anniversary is the orignal theatrical unrated version. Everytime I watch it, I'm left wondering, "was it a little more gory when I was a kid?" But they did put ED-209 shooting cheese holes into the guy, and blood squirting from Murphy when Bodiker and his crew were having their way with him, and other parts. Plus it has commentary on both disks for both the original release and unrated version. If you liked this, or watched it as I did back 20 years ago, you won't be disappointed. Plus the movie lines are great. "Thank you for your cooperation, Good Nite!!"

Robocop is a perfect movie, with satirical and politically relevant themes that still hit home today. It also has some fantastic action, gruesome violence, and is infinitely quotable. This new transfer is as good as its ever been. Previous transfers were really poor, so much that I thought I accidentally put the dvd in. This new transfer, while not Terminator-good, is still fantastic. I really wish the sound was a bit more explosively dynamic, but I think it's as good as it will get without tinkering with the design.

This movie is a classic and a must own for scifi lovers, I'm sure everyone has seen Robocop at least once in their life, so we all know what the plot is about. The 4k remastered transfer with the directors cut makes this version of the bluray outstanding, watch the movie how it was intended to be watched. If you don't have this version of the movie, I suggest you pick it up while its still available. Note: More extras and featurettes are also added to this bluray

Finally Robocop is remastered in 4K and the quality is the best it has looked. This new blu at the cheap price of $7.99 with movie ticket is worth every penny. If your a fan then don't hesitate to get this release. It has lots of new features, old ones and the best looking Robocop yet on Blu. I'd buy that for a dollar!

Watching this movie again brought back so many memories for me. The picture quality is stunning, plus it comes with $7.50 in movie cash to see the new Robocop movie in February, so basically you're getting the classic on a stunning new transfer for less than a dollar.

Just a few weeks away from the 2014 reboot of Robocop comes a re-release of the classic 1987 film on Blu-Ray. While there are several other versions of the film currently available on Blu, this one offers a stunning 4K scan which showcases the film in all its glory with the best audio and video available. Another plus is that first-run copies include a ticket voucher for a discount to see the new film in theaters.

Paul Verhoeven's classic 1987 feature gets a brand new 4K remastering...and the picture is flipping awesome! Most of it looks like it was shot yesterday. They should have forgot about the remake and re-released this back into the theaters. Add to that the already fantastic mix of direction, acting, music, story, and effects. Only gets better with time....so forget spending anything on the PG-13 remake, and go for the Hard R!

First off this is a really kickin old school flick that is violent as it can get and and funny as and old cult classic should be. The only real problem I have with this film is that the quality is not as good as the metalcase dvd version. Its like they took the vhs and copied it onto bluray.. either way its a good movie that i will always cherish.

This 4k remaster of Robocop is great! With the current $7.99 price point, this is a steal! The picture quality and audio are by far the best this movie has seen. I would recommend this for anyone that is a Robocop fan like me.

i don't know what those 3 star and down guys were watching, this is a classic. robocop is one of the best cyborg movies around. there is action throughout the whole movie, what more could you ask for. you will enjoy this movie especially if your not some up tight critic of everything. there are not to many extras big deal. if that is what you look for in a movie then your not a movie fan.

4K Remasters are not so easy to come by, so when RoboCop gets the star treatment on Blu Ray, we should all be grateful. Plus, the missing bonus features from the previous blu ray are back along with a Q&A session from 2012. I LIKE it!!!

Unfortunately, MGM has left out all of the special features that can be found on the 20th anniversary collectors edition DVD of Robocop. If you want any special features, you will have to get the DVD. The blu-ray has decent picture and audio quality, but it is still lacking compared to other releases. I would say this is for fans of the film only.

Im really glad that they finally brought out the Uncensored Version of Robocop. But not only are you getting that you are getting the orignal movie too, full of deleted scenes, commentary, documentaries about Robo and how they did everything..This is a must have for fans of the series..(except for the terrible Robocop 3..lol)

Great movie that brings back many memories of even owning the Robocop video game on the Nintendo Entertainment System. I immediately had to purchase Robocop for my Blu~Ray collection.

This new transfer of the Robocop classic looks great and blows other releases out of the water. The picture is stunning and is definitely worth the cheap $7.99 price tag at Best Buy right now.

I can't say much more about this excellent film that hasn't already been said but if you are one of the very few that hasn't checked out this amazing film yet that has aged like a fine wine, then the new remastered blu-ray is the perfect way to do just that.

'Robocop' is not a picture for everyone, but it does have quite a cult following, and it actually is a good movie in its own right. It is heavily violent, the director's cut even more so, so people who don't have a stomach for that type of action may want to stay away. Great dvd release, with lots of bonus goodies for the die-hard fans.

Robo Cop was a favorite of mine and so was its star. The plot was new for a spell, since many versions now exist in movies of combining machine and man together, but when it comes right down to it, man will win, at least in this movie he did.

The remaster on this movie is better than the original. The image is better and more detail is present. If you really like this movie I would suggest double dipping and buying this release.

A classic gem that is not going to tarnish in the face of any remake ever. And I appreciate the fact that they include all the previous DVD extras in this remastered blu-ray version.
