this film is a classic! and it looks stunning on this release. id highly suggest it if you are a robocop fan and love the movies but not the terrible film quality of the past.

They just don't make them like this anymore. Watching this movie now makes it seem like it came from another universe. It's really fantastic. I'd buy it for a dollar.

When released in 1987 the movie was huge. Re-releasing it with DTS sound just put Robocop #1 on my top ten. I never would have thought anything could beat The original Die Hard. I was wrong.

'Robocop' is not a picture for everyone, but it does have quite a cult following, and it actually is a good movie in its own right. It is heavily violent, so people who don't have a stomach for that type of action may want to stay away. Good dvd release, but not much in terms of extras.

A great film overall! I highly recommend it, I have not seen the new transfer yet but I do plan on getting it soon.

Robocop is one of the best 80's action films. This new blu ray release has a new and amazing transfer. This is the best Robocop has ever looked.

Robocop is one of those cult classic films that was dark even for its time. Even years later, a lot of the social political commentary in the film still strikes a chard. The director must have been a prophet.

This movie was one of the most violent rated R movies of its time. It still stands up as a very good movie. The effects and gore are still good in todays standards. The rest of the Robocop's are not the greatest, but this movie is great.

what can i say its robocop everybody should have this movie and plus both versions of the film are in this tin case so what else can you ask for

The video transfer on this copy is SO much better than the previous releases. Crystal clear and great sound.

I know lots of people love this movie but I was never a huge fan. But on sale and with a great lineup of bonus docs and commentary, I could not pass up adding it to my collection.

Robocop has action sequences that are outdated based on today's standards, but it's still a fun movie with a lot of great action scenes and a decent plot.

While being one of my fav films, there's no denying this was a low budget film when it was made. No amount of 4K hype is going to put its picture quality on par with current BR releases. There's more picture detail(and grain), plus extras that weren't on the prior disc, for the asking price of $7.99 it's surely worth it.

This dismal Blue-Ray version of 'Robocop' shames the format and the movie by being completely void of any and all bonus features that have graced previous standard dvd incarnations. The mildly improved image, which by the way will only be noticeable on a large widescreen hi-def tv, hardly makes this one worth the price. Skip it.
