Great mouse. Use wireless for sure but great mouse

This is my first wirless mouse, and I didnt know how much i would appreciate not having the wire. That being said everyonce and a while i will notice its not as responsive as when i plug it in. And run it that way. Could just be my set up not sure. But overall happy with the product.

I bought it for less than 40 dollars and it is worth every penny the weight, the ergonomics, everything is perfectly designed to play comfortably.

I’m super old and have used many mice during my countless days on this planet, so why not try another mouse, right? When the chance to try out the Roccat Burst Pro Air came about and one of the options was a white color that matched my gaming laptop, I couldn’t pass it up. I’ll break down this mouse review into a few sections for easy consumption, but if you want the TLDR version, just scroll to the bottom! Comfort: This mouse should be comfortable for most palm grip and claw grip gamers. I’m a claw grip gamer and that usually makes me select smaller mice to play with.This mouse is definitely suited for smaller hands, as it’s a bit smaller than several of my other mice, but nowhere near the size of a mobile mouse. The 2 side buttons are easy to click with your thumb, but the DPI button is quite large and can definitely be clicked accidentally. I really like the way this mouse feels in my right hand. Performance: This mouse performs great, both wired and wireless. The mouse is very light and that’s important as it doesn’t fatigue you during long gaming sessions. You can adjust your DPI settings on the fly from super slow to entirely too fast on the fly or using the Swarm software from Roccat. There are several configurable profiles in the software, but I’ll get to that in the next section. The mouse performs well and I had no issues with tracking on multiple surfaces. Design and Usability: The design and look of this mouse is glorious. The white translucent shell really brings the device alive once you tinker with the RGB settings. The AIMO setting in the Swarm software is interesting as it’s supposed to adjust the lighting based on how you use the mouse. I’ve yet to figure out what this really means, but I’ll keep toying with it. I do have a gripe about the Swarm software as it’s definitely designed for 1080p screens and is very difficult to see on my 1440p monitor. This will vary depending on the physical size of your monitor as well and Windows scaling, etc. You’ll get approximately 100 hours on a single charge via the USB-C cable, which is awesome. The mouse is Nvidia Reflex compatible for you hardcore gamers out there and they use some crazy fancy method to put the glides on the bottom of the mouse, so that’s cool? DPI ranges from 400 to 19,000 and the polling rate is 1000mhz at its max. That’s enough nerdy stuff for now though. The mouse does have a tiny dongle that you’ll probably end up using if you want to take advantage of its super low latency features, but you can also use bluetooth in case you want to connect it for a more casual experience. I would just recommend using the dongle to avoid any weird issues with bluetooth that Windows seems to have. Oh, and don’t forget to download the Swarm software and plug in your mouse for the absolute longest firmware update I’ve ever seen for a mouse. I believe it took about 15 minutes to update the firmware of the Burst Pro Air, which seemed a little odd, but everything went off without a hitch. Overall Impressions: The Roccat Burst Pro Air is a fantastic mouse. I really don’t have any complaints about the mouse itself. Everything about it feels good, the movement, the clicking and it looks amazing with it’s translucent “bionic” shell that lets you enjoy the glorious RGB lighting. My only complaint would come with the Swarm software, as it’s definitely a little rudimentary and probably needs a UI/UX designer to take a longer look at. Overall, you won’t be in that software much after initial setup, so it shouldn’t be an issue for most people. If you’re in the market for a wireless gaming mouse, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this one.

Second favorite mouse that have owned over the years. Only concern that keeps from 5 stars is battery life seems a little short. Understood that there has to be a tradeoff for the light weight, Other than that, performs, looks, and feels great.

This mouse feels nice and sturdy. The software is adequate. I like that it has the option of connecting using either Bluetooth or wireless. I feel the battery life per charge is a little lacking, but isnt a deal breaker.

Works great when it works. I had an issue with interferance when using it alongside my corsair wireless keyboard. Ended up using it on a seperate machine without issue
