Headset worked great for 16 days. On the 16th day the headset started to act as if it had a short in it, and would go in and out constantly during conversations. Return policy is 15 days, so I missed being able to return by 1 day. Not a happy customer on this purchase.

The sound is fantastic. It is clearly the standout feature of these headphones. I listen to a lot of music in various genres. I also used the headphones to watch movies and videoconference. While I didn't use these strictly for gaming, the sound was amazing for everything I tried! The sound is also fully customizable using Roccat’s SWARM software. The software only makes the sound better. The mic is also very handy. I used these to videoconference and everyone commented that my sound was so clear compared to all the other videoconferences. The mic is detachable for when you are just listening and not speaking. The noise canceling is fantastic also. There was a baby in the same room as I and I couldn't hear when she cried - a good and a bad thing! These headphones are very comfortable to wear for me; I wore then for 5 hours without even remembering they were there. They are very lightweight. The volume/sound controls are easy to access when you are wearing the headphones as well. The battery is touted to last for 24 hours. When I was finished with them they were still almost nearly fully charged after many hours of use. Overall, a great pair of headphones!

Overall I love these. They do get a bit heavy though as I am a remote customer service tech. I may look for some lighter weight ones and use these for online gaming.

As with other Roccat products, the Roccat ELO gaming headset has a sharp look and design with the all black coloring and RGB lighting that can be customized to mirror other Roccat components. Most importantly the headset has a comfortable fit and they’re lightweight for extended use. The fit quickly and easily self-adjusts to one’s head and the memory foam provides comfortable wear to the ears. Roccat even designed softer foam into the area that rests against eyeglasses to provide relief to those wearing glasses. The headset quality is quite nice and it seems like the steel frame will hold up well with high usage, while not feeling heavy. In use, battery life has been quite good and Roccat indicates gamers should get over a week’s worth of use. Wireless connectivity has been reliable with no issues to note. Sound quality is quite good with 7.1 surround sound. Swarm software allows for customization of presets and equalizer settings. Between these options and the 50mm drivers its hard to imagine not finding sound quality to wow most users. Superhuman hearing feature is intended to boost critical game sounds which will seem to be a subjective feature that some may like and others may find unnecessary. The Roccat ELO headset has been an enjoyable experience with a nice comfort level and lightweight design. Add in the customization the Swarm software offers to the sound experience and this headset is a great option. On-ear audio controls, detachable mic and extended battery life add to a nice feature set.

This product started crackling and having distorted audio after 3 months, and after 5 months it stopped receiving charge. It was great while it lasted, but I bought these hoping they would last a couple years to say the very least. I am very disappointed to know that I have to eat the 80 bucks I spent on these due to the return period being only 15 days.

For its price range it’s very good but I hate the software as it would require the same update every time I booted up my computer so it was annoying but I loved the RGB and battery life.

I have had these for 2 months now, and have had minor connection problems but nothing big until now. Every time i connect and play after about 30 minutes they get very staticy which makes them unuseable. The firmware is up to date and I have tried troubleshooting through windows audio and ROCCAT but nothing has worked.

Broke after 3 months of normal use. Forgot to buy extended protection, nothing extenuating on use just average take on and off use, didn't add any additional pressure, broke on the side plastic by the ear. Unfortunate really enjoyed it right up till it broke.

Delivered May 24, 2021. Stopped working for no apparent reason August 11, 2021. This is less than 3 months. Best Buy shows the product to be non returnable within this 3 month period. I imagine I will stick to Costco and Sam's Club for electronic purchases as one never knows when a lousy product will be purchased.
