Excellent sound, design, and comfort
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to say I am impressed with this headset. The fit and comfort remind me of higher-end headphones. I personally keep the RGB off to save battery, but the lighting effects are bright and customizable. Controls are well laid-out, and the volume wheels are indented vs free spinning, which is great. The build quality is solid, with a metal headband, and the elastic fit band is much more confortable than I was expecting. Ear cups are soft and plush. Sound quality is clear and fairly tight, though slightly tuned more for bass, which most gaming headsets are. The Roccat software offers multiple sound profiles, and a customizable equalizer, so they can be tuned to your liking. Frequency response for the ear phones and microphone are user adjustable. Overall very happy with this headset at this price.

A hassle every time I go to play
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headset is very comfortable and sounds amazing. But the software and just general hoops you have to go through to get it to connect each time outweighs the good. When you turn on the headset, sometimes it just wont connect - actually pretty much every time it does not connect without opening the 'swarm' app on your PC. There is no wired option either - super inconvenient. and sometimes it will spring an update prompt on you, all the updates are required in order for the headset to work, again SUPER annoying and very inconvenient. This would be a great headset if it had a wired option and connected faster and without this unnecessary hassle. I suggest you look into the SteelSeries headsets instead, way better products overall.

Nice surround effect
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been trying to find a wireless headset that boats "7.1" and lives up to it. The spatial sound built into most systems is good, but the virtual effect can sometimes be lost in locating the position of others in games. I've noticed this set helps me pinpoint positions fairly accurately. Whether it's the drivers or the software in use, the effect is much more pronounced. They are comfy and the battery has been going strong for 3 days thus far. Good clean highs with very little muddiness in the mid range. I would recommend.

Good for me
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Id like it but my kid doesnt. It’s perfect for me but fits strangely for my kid. Best to fit it as everyone as different head size. Sounds decent and has no lag. Good for gaming. Easy to plug and play.

Great headset by ROCCAT
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really liked the ROCCAT Elo Wireless Gaming Headset. They were very comfortable, and the sound quality was great, what you would expect from the ROCCAT and Turtle Beach brands. Apparently, ROCCAT technology is now exclusive to Turtle Beach, and the combination seems to enhance the features of this headset. They are sturdily built to hold up to hours of use. At first glance, they are average sized for gaming headsets; I’ve used larger and heavier ones, although the trend is starting to be towards lighter ones. To me, these fell in the middle range, but not at all to heavy or bulky. As soon as I put them on, they seemed lighter than the first impression while I held them. Their appearance is attractive, all black except for the lighting on the sides – the ROCCAT name on one side and the cat logo on the other—which cycle through colors; I also have the keyboard with the same effect, the AIMO lighting. I really liked this, and thought it was appealing without being too bright or distracting when I had the lights off. The top part is metal with a padded band underneath that stretches, adjusting to fit around my head, and holding them securely in place. Even when I moved around, they didn’t shift on my head. The headphones are large enough to fit over my entire ear, not resting on them at all, and insulating against some background noise. It did not block it all out, still can hear myself speak and some other sounds in the room but it muted it some, so I could focus on what I was hearing. I also turned it up a little to block more of it and could hear every little sound in the games (and movies) while I was using these. I liked that the cushions on the ear cups were so comfortable and didn’t seem to put any pressure on the sides of my head or on my glasses. Sometimes I have to remove them after a while, but I was still fine wearing this headset. These are wireless, with USB receiver to plug into the computer, which also has the logo on it (no getting it mixed up with other receivers, like the ones for my mouse and keyboard, which are almost identical). The mic has clear sound, no issues with others hearing me at all, without static and I was able to speak normally, although you can make some adjustments to personalize this a little. The overall sound quality is great. There are options to use the Superhuman Hearing mode, or the 7.1 surround sound, by using the Swarm app. Again, these are a matter of personal choice about preference; try them out and see which gives you the sound you want while using the headset, and adjustable for different situations. I liked the Superhuman a little better, more comfortable sounding to me. The battery life is also impressive. I’ve been using these for about four days and have not had to charge them yet. They come with the USB charging cable, but not the AC adapter, which is common these days. It could be plugged into the computer to charge, or into an adapter for faster charging. For the price, you will get a great headset without paying more than you need to for the kind of performance you want for PC gaming. It’s a really great value for a headset that will last for a while.

Comfortable wireless headset with great sound!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The ELO 7.1 AIR is an awesome headset! The sound is full and clear and it's very comfortable to wear! Design The plastic feels quality and looks great! They feel very comfortable, not heavy at all one the head. My favorite thing about the design, besides the sound, is the automatically adjusting fit. There's nothing to adjusting it. You just put it over your head and get a perfect fit every time. The fit around the ears is great too. The mic boom is detachable so if you're just listening to music you can take that off. I was wondering if it would feel heavy since it needs the rechargeable battery in it but it doesn't. My favorite thing is probably the fact that is has controls on the headset and they're very well designed! There's actually a control for the mic volume! There's a control for the speaker volume too of course. There's a button for mute and a power button. All are easy to distinguish by sized/design or location. The dials for the volume are awesome - they have a great feel that make control easy. Sound These sound great! Vocals, instrumentals, explosions from movies, it all sounds very good. I did some positional audio testing too with the 7.1 surround enabled and that was excellent. You enable the 7.1 surround and adjust other settings, lighting, and features in the Swarm software. I was surprised I even noticed a difference enabling the 7.1 audio for listening to a track on an album, a regular song. It sounded fuller, as you may expect, like it was more around me, when I changed it to 7.1. It wasn't a huge difference but noticeable and better than without! Those 50mm drivers really do their job! Bass is great on these! It's the kind of headset you can listen to music on and hear background sounds you never heard before. I had that happen with a song or two already. Features As I mentioned before, you install and use Swarm to configure the ELO 7.1 Air. I can output audio at up to 24 bit 96khz. You can adjust the EQs if you want manually. There are a bunch of quick settings with games in mind. You can turn on noise cancelation, voice effects (magic voice), and more. I had a lot calls on it already and the quality was always great. No issues with anyone hearing me and I could hear loud and clear. Swarm also lets you adjust the lighting of the headset, as I mentioned earlier. While it's advertised for PC and Mac I wanted to see if the headset would work on anything else. I tried and it did work on a Chromebook and an Android phone running Android 10. So don't buy it for those because it may not work on yours and I didn't try the mic, plus there's no app to configure it, but if you have the ELO 7.1 you may get more use out of it than you thought! On the phone I had to use a USB-A adapter of course.

Wow!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn't sure if I'd like these headphones because they seemed so bulky when I first put them on. However after a few minutes my head adjusted just fine and oh my goodness...the sound is incredible! I hear things I've never been able to hear before in the games, music, etc. I really fell in love with them and they go along perfectly with my keyboard and mouse! Really cool RGB lighting on the sides and the microphone works great too. For the money they are an exceptional purchase!!

Lightweight, wireless surround
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great lightweight, wireless surround headphones at a lower than typical price. Lightweight, comfortable, great sounding. Has good pickup on the mic for clear in game chat. Long lasting battery power. Recommended for those with a desire for wireless that don't want to break the bank.

Not good long term
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the first few months i had these they were okay quality, nothing special. they were too tight on my head and you can’t really adjust them, after about 6 months my voice started to bug out, would randomly go high pitched and staticky, a few more months after that the mic quality became terrible, it was extremely quiet no matter what settings i tried to change to adjust it. then the mute button stopped working so i tossed them. for the price i don’t think these are good headphones at all, go with something a few bucks more and maybe they’ll last you more than barely a year like these.

good sound but very poor connecting capability
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has a great sound but the only problem with it is that, at times, it does not connect to the system. Sometimes I have to retry like 10 times, removing the usb from computer, restarting and what not? and it still doesnt want to connect.
