I love this headset it doesn’t bother my glasses and also great for gaming so far I don’t have any issues with it so far. The only thing I don’t like is the metal creaking every time I adjust the headband.

Purchased this headset for my son. He really likes it and says they're very comfortable. Sounds pretty decent for the price compared to others. So far he's only had them since Christmas but no issues at the moment.

Gets the job done, not the most comfortable, not the best quality, but if you want accurate sounds with a mic at a super budget this works perfect.

These ROCCAT Elo X cans are a great value for a gaming headset that works with most platforms thanks to a traditional 3.5mm wired connection and lack of surround processing. For an extremely competitive price, you get exactly what you 'need' in a gaming headset: a great sounding mic, good quality sound through the headphones themselves, and easy to use mute controls on the headset itself. I immediately got comments on discord when I joined with the Elo X headset on. Several guildies commented on my mic quality being very good without me saying I had changed headsets. I take that as either a good sign for this mic or that I had my previous mic aimed incorrectly :) Sound quality was great for gaming with lots of bass and clear midrange and high end detail for picking out footsteps and other audible cues. My sound card offers virtual surround processing so I did not miss much with the lack of USB powered processing on the Elo X. Music listening was typical for this price point - tons of bass and a punchy sound, not an audiophile headset for sure. Still, it isn't unpleasant for music by any stretch, and it's more than made up for by the excellent mic quality when gaming. This is a gaming headset, after all. Comfort and fit and finish are great and truly surprising at this price range. The ear muffs are pretty much the perfect firmness to give you a good seal around your ears but also have some give to not press on your glasses in an uncomfortable way. They are advertised as glasses friendly, so I was kind of hoping they had the same little indentation for glasses like the Turtle Beach headsets (which owns the Roccat brand now) but the ear pads for the Elo X is still very good for glasses wearers. The headband is auto adjusting and I had no problems with my larger than average head. The only complaint I have and the reason I went with 4 stars is they do have a little boomi-ness in the design, presumably from the low price and cheaper plastics. There's just some reverb that is introduced if you move your head in certain ways and cord catches on something - the plastic 'cups' of the headphones introduce an echo. It's not very noticeable unless you're wearing the headphones without any music or game audio playing (like in a video meeting for example) and it's honestly not going to be noticeable to a lot of people period. But for me it felt like something worth mentioning in my review. I wholeheartedly recommend these as a great budget headset and I know I'll be pointing friends and family to this review during the holidays.

I bought these because they were advertised as glasses friendly and they mostly were. The headphones didn't crush the arms into my temples. That was the best part of the headphones. Unfortunately every time I moved my head the cord would make a loud clank. It was annoying. I haven't experienced that before with any other headphones. The removable mic is a great feature, and people could understand me when I used it.

Wireless headphones are awesome, and I use them frequently, and they can switch in-between devices ranging from terribly to extremely well... But wired headphones can switch even easier, and if you have a decent DAC and a high quality audio source, they just sound better than wireless (this is purely due to the digital to analog conversion that happens that wireless just can’t do right now). Are these the best in the world, no, but wow do they do a good job. Like a really good job. That is not a “for the price statement” or anything like that, if you’re an audiophile you might disagree, but I think most people will be more than happy with the quality. To top it off the mic is by far the best I have used period. My Dad (who I always test my mics on cause of his hearing) said it was literally like sitting in the same room talking with me. The physical volume scroll on the side works well and is separate from the device, some might like this some might hate this, I’ll let you decide, I’ve tested it on everything except an iPhone and found it works the same on all of them, I prefer it this way so I look at it as a pro. Also, the mic is detachable, I might prefer a retractable mic but detachable works just as well for if you just want the headset. So my setup at home uses a Thunderbolt connector, it provides charging, video, keyboard, mouse, speaker, mic, and now a headset one plug, the splitter that comes in the box that also has the benefit of giving me the length I need to get to the dock comfortably along with splitting out the mic and speakers like the dock wants. I can plug a Chromebook, Mac, tablet, phone, or PC into the port and depending on who is trying to use the desk that is exactly what might be plugged in. This enables anyone to have a crystal-clear private conversation from the setup. Or if not private one that everyone does not have to listen to both sides of the conversation. Also, if I really want to jam out while working, I throw these on and I can drown out the entire house and the 50mm drivers sound really nice. So, for the cross compatibility, these things rock (It is hard to beat an Aux headset for compatibility). If you do have a newer phone that skips the aux jack you can pick up a high-quality USB Hi-Fi DAC from several different places for increased compatibility. One of the biggest disadvantages that I see is that the aux cable is not removable, if you damage it you are either repairing it yourself or tossing the headset. Not to say it is fragile, but life can happen so that is something to be aware of if you are hard on cords. Pros: Physical mute button that is easy to tell if it is on or off detachable mic comfortable built for using with glasses great sound wide compatibility physical volume scroll with separate volume control from device Comes with Speaker/Mic splitter cable Cons No AIMO Cord isn't detachable

Definitely not meant for big headed people. I put the headset on for 3 seconds and it was immediately uncomfortable. I know with what it’s worth I can’t expect greatness but was still a shame when it didn’t fit my head.

We appreciate your feedback Austin. Please know that we get very few complaints about sizing or comfort issues.

Due to the wide variations in head sizes and shapes, it's not possible to design a one-size-fits-all headset that will fit absolutely 100% of all users. However, we consistently provide a comfortable fit for the overwhelming majority of our customers.

Please bear in mind that your headset will wear in over time, which should result in a better fit after you've used it for a while. TurtleBeach

It wasn't a bad pair of headphones but I returned them. I'm use to the likes of Bose 700 so when I picked these up, before opting for the Pulse 3D Headphones, I was surprised by the lack of comfort. They are heavy, aren't comfortable for long periods of time and feel pretty cheap. Well, they are cheap so what do you expect. Returned them.
