This mouse comes with installed software that had malware specifically (Search Marquis) that took over my mac and i can't get rid of it. DO NOT BUY

I'm not really one to leave reviews, but feel extremely disappointed with this mouse. After about 3-4 months of moderate/casual usage, I run into an issue with the scroll wheel (it scrolls the opposite direction randomly while scrolling e.g. scrolls up then down while scrolling down, down then up while scrolling up). I look the issue up and find out it's a fairly common hardware issue with this mouse. It's super annoying since I use the scroll to swap guns in FPS games and sometimes the gun won't swap until you scroll repeatedly. I contacted support (the support rep was friendly, so support seems OK) and they seemed to be very familiar with the issue. They immediately said it was a hardware issue with no questions asked, so clearly Roccat is aware of this issue, so it's sad that this issue isn't fixed/there isn't some recall. They said they would fix the mouse for me BUT I would need a receipt. I didn't purchase online, I purchased on a whim during a sale at Best Buy, so it's not on my account and I don't have the receipt. Shame on me, I guess. I'll try to fix it myself. TLDR: Could be a nice mouse but there is a known issue with the scroll wheel so I wouldn't recommend this mouse, especially at full price, and if you do buy it, buy it online/hold on to your receipt forever.
