Good clicks! It does everything a mouse should do.

Who doesn't need single button press to do a thousand things? Macros have become a way of life on the gaming mice along with high resolution and quick responsiveness. Using the same customization software as Roccat’s other peripheral products, you can drag commands on to your choice of button. Buttons can be customized for specific applications or across all. you can add key presses or macros to any of the input areas on the mouse. These include: A thumb button (for a right-handed users), forward and back buttons, scroll wheel left/ right, or clicking on the scroll wheel. The thumb Button can be used as a mode shift, allowing you to customize combinations. The Kone will also let you change the DPI on the fly, Switching from coarse movement (when you need to turn from one side to another) to high resolution when you are trying to carefully select which object to pick up. In all cases, the wired connection passed your input to your PC as quickly as it happens. The only challenge I had using the mouse was on a glass topped desk. It responded, but not very accurately. When I put it back on the mouse pad, it was perfect. Colors can be set in the same customization software that Roccat uses for their other peripheral devices. The AIMO mode allows close coordination with a Roccat headset and/or keyboard if you have them. You can also set a pattern independent of your other items. The ease of use and level of customization let you focus on the game and still get credit for the “look”.

ROCCAT - Kone AIMO Wired Optical Gaming Mouse - White

This is a quick and responsive mouse with a normal amount of buttons. It's comfortable and useful enough to use all day as a primary mouse on a work system. The Swarm software opens up all sorts of configuration and lighting options. I also have a Roccat keyboard and headset, so this mouse completes the "set." It's nice to be able to synch up their lighting effects. More about the usability -- the scroll wheel can be configured for sensitivity, it has side-to-side tilt for side scrolling, and the mechanism is nicely solid. I don't accidentally click the middle button when trying to scroll. The only thing that bugged me about the buttons was the left side button under your thumb, but they use it effectively. I do hit that button accidentally pretty often, but they have it set as a "function" button, so it doesn't do anything by itself, so once you get used to it, it's great. Overall it's a great mouse, and it's nice to have a set of peripherals that can synch their lighting effects.

I was worried at first that I would miss more "premium" features of other mice, like adjustable weights, additional buttons, etc. I was pleasantly surprised when I started using this mouse though. it seems a little bigger than what I am used to, but it feels great in the hand. The pads on the bottom glide smoothly and quietly. The cable is high quality and well made. The RGB ligthing effects on this mouse are top notch. 5 different RGB zones that are fully customizable in the Roccat software. 1000ms poll rate, up to 16k dpi. All the buttons and features you need, and not much you don't. I wish it had 1 more button to let the scroll wheel free-spin, but it is not a deal breaker. Overall I am impressed with the features, build quality, and ergonomics of this mouse at this price point. Definitely recommend.

Order this mouse in April 2020. Dec 2020 the scroll wheel is broken. I had high hopes for this mouse. I guess they don't make them to last anymore. I would really like to find a mouse that will make it for a few years.

I have had this mouse for over a year now and I have had some things happen with the mouse like it is now double clicking and some buttons aren't working how they should I would not recommend getting this mouse after having it for a long time bought this for drag clicking it is amazing for that but the downside is it is poor quilty for the price it is.

the click portion to me is a bit soft and when i click on regular tasks it completely is unresponsive , might return .

Okay mouse. Works for drag clicking and everyday use.

I like the mouse although I would prefer if you could turn the lighting off

The Roccat - Kone AIMO Wired Optical Gaming Mouse is one of a myriad of gaming mice on the market. There are so many that it is hard to stand out and really all them are in the same price range are very comparable in features. What is important is the overall ergonomics - how it feels and how easy does it function - Size – This mouse is a bit on the larger size with it being taller and longer than I really like. I found the angle it put my wrist was uncomfortable after a few minutes. This was mitigated when I used a wrist pad but I really prefer not to use one. I think people with larger hands will not find this to be as much as an issue. Buttons – Like just about all the better gaming mice, the buttons are responsive and have a nice feel to them. The side buttons are a bit awkwardly spaced but that is a matter of preferences. Scroll wheel – Accurate, responsive and an exceptionally good tactile feel. I hate the loose scroll wheels on some of the competition, the Roccat nails the balance of the correct amount of resistance. Movement – The glide pads on the button of mouse make it easy to move around and no mouse pad is needed. Roccat pays attention to the little details like the feel of the plastic, the braided USB cord and the right balance and weight. I like the Roccat – Kone, it seems to hit all the marks except it is a bit large for me. The size is more of a preference, I could see how it would not bother most people. If you noticed, I did not mention the RGB lights. As I have said in countless other reviews, who cares about the shiny lights - form and function over the marketing glitz. This mouse has good form and function.

Not very pleased. Mouse is bigger than expected...

This mouse looks and feels great. The only thing id that it has problems zooming and scrolling with that middle mouse button. This frustration adds up if you’re trying to game.

Scroll wheel stopped properly working after a month, apparently this is a widespread issue on many of their mice? I scroll and every few seconds it jump scrolls the other direction, extremely frustrating. Otherwise, the mouse is very high quality, feels comfortable, but a defective scroll wheel just ruins it for me. Sidenote: The RGB is not compatible with macOS, when I plug it into my macOS computer it just sits one solid color and doesn't change. They don't offer their RGB software for mac either, but the mouse still works fine otherwise.
