The Roccat Kone Pro Air mouse is great, once you get the update done. I opened the box and found the mouse, dongle, and charging cable. I already had the Swarm app on my PC, but I went to the Kone mouse webpage and downloaded the newer version. When I connected the mouse to the PC, Swarm stated there was an update for the mouse and dongle. I thought I did it correctly, but the instructions aren’t very clear about updating the dongle and it’s supposed to be done first. Then you attach the USB cable and update that. Well after the update, the mouse worked when connected, but it wouldn’t connect to the dongle. I finally gave up and put it to bed. The next morning, I moved the dongle from the front USB port to the rear and tada, it worked. I’m not sure why and I didn’t bother to investigate. I was jazzed that it worked. Then I fired up Swarm and checked the settings. Everything looked good and I was able to use the mouse. I tried it with and without the charging cable and it works flawlessly. I use a wired Roccat mouse on this PC and a wireless mouse from another manufacturer on my main PC. The Kone Air Pro with the dongle just works. It’s nice and light, fits my hand well, no lag, and glides wonderfully across the desk. I just love the feel of the aluminum Titan scroll wheel. It feels substantial and not flimsy like many plastic wheels do. Lastly, I like the large side buttons that don’t get bumped accidentally like my other wireless mouse. The large thumb indentation keeps my thumb in place and away from the two side buttons. Oh, the mechanical feel of the left and right controls feels solid. There’s a nice click with each press, not like the wireless mouse I’m using that clicks, but without feedback. Then there’s the Swarm app that has so many options that I still have to Google some to figure out what they do. The factory setting, for now, works great, but I do mess with the lighting and take a peek at what I could change if I knew what I was doing. Hopefully, I’ll find some time to get better at tweaking the mouse options. For gamers, I’m sure the Swarm app would be a wonderful tool to get them to the next level. The mouse connects via the charging cable, USB, and Bluetooth. I forgot about the Bluetooth, so I just plugged it in to see if it works. I’m on a Windows 10 Home PC and I did have to use my current mouse to enter settings, Bluetooth, and add a mouse. Windows saw the Kone mouse instantly and added it with a click of the current mouse. Bluetooth seems to work with no lag. I haven’t tested it gaming, so I’m not sure how it does when the PC is being taxed. Well for review purposes, I fired up Dirt 4 in Steam and set up an account. I haven’t played it but figured it would tax the system. I’m running a Ryzen 7 w/ 16Gb of ram and a Radeon RX 580. I can hear the CPU fan whirling away and the mouse has no lag. I didn’t need it to play the game, but once I got the game playing, I used the mouse to navigate across dual screens and it worked great. So, except for the firmware update headache, this mouse performs. I’m happy with it and it most likely will be added to one of my current systems.

I have had this mouse for a few days and it took some serious getting used to. I am used to a heavier mouse, but this mouse, like its name, is light as air. It is extremely responsive and a joy to use. The only thing that I wish I could do is change the sensitivity on the mouse via a button instead of requiring me to go into the Roccat software to adjust. I do both gaming and editing and obviously I use different mouse sensitivities for both. Aside from that small grip the battery life is incredible, and the ergonomics of the mouse do not strain my wrist or hand. Certainly would reccommend.

Mouse Wheel is useless after a few weeks... This will be my last Roccat product. I'm so [ANGRY] at this mouse, I'm also replacing my Roccat keyboard and removing the software from my machine as soon as possible.

When I first took the mouse out, I was checking the box to make sure I didn't miss the batteries as it was so light, and I did not. Depending on the mouse you use today, this may take some time to get used to, as all the mice I have are much heavier. On the connection side, you have 3 options. There is a USB cable to connect directly, a wireless dongle, and then Bluetooth. I connected directly and got the Roccat software setup and updated, but also tried Bluetooth and the wireless connection. Each connection works well, though Bluetooth I saw the most lag with especially if you connect other Bluetooth devices, so if you are going to use it wirelessly you're better off using the dongle. There is a switch at the bottom of the mouse that you choose the mode, and each connects pretty easily. While these 3 options are interesting, I don't see much of a use with a gaming desktop as you'll probably just stick to one option, but if you have a laptop that you connect to a hub and sometimes take then its nice to be able to take the mouse and use it wirelessly. The performance for my needs was good as well, though I mostly used it for gaming when attached to the computer but did use it on a laptop for work using the wireless features. The software allows you to adjust the DPI so you can have it move as fast as you want and allows you to switch around too. You do also get RGB, so if you pair it with a Roccat keyboard, you can have everything match. Overall, it feels better than most cheap mice, but nothing special. If you want the option for wired and wireless, this is a great pick or pairing it with a Roccat keyboard, but if you're only looking for a wired mouse there are better options.

Great mouse for the price. The LEDs in the buttons are interesting, but nothing crazy. Overall a great, light mouse for a really great price.

Lightweight bluetooth and it glows, i cant say enough about it

This mouse was a nice surprise. I'm super picky with mice. I've used a handful of basic wireless mice, corded mice and ergonomic mice. I have an ergonomic I use for work and prefer a gaming wired mouse when I play. This mouse ticks every box for me. Feels good in my hand. Solid click feel without being too noisy. No wire necessary. Looks sleek in white AND the rbg matches my keyboard. This mouse glides do smoothly and you can customize just about everything. The battery life exceeds any other wireless mouse I've used in the past. So far this is the only mouse worth the price tag in my opinion.

Easy wireless pairing, love the shape. Be sure to update to latest firmware and follow pairing instructions (it isn't just plug and play). Turn off AIMO lighting for more battery life. Disable energy saving for better latency.

The ROCCAT - Kone Pro Air Wireless+Bluetooth Ultralight 19k DPI Optical Gaming Mouse with RGB Lighting has been so fun to use. I've used it for gaming, and for business. I had to update my Roccat software on my computer. Once installed, everything was up and running. I love the connectivity as well. Bluetooth or the usb dongle. Both very responsive.

The Roccat Kone Pro Air is extremely lightweight and incredibly responsive, absolutely perfect for fast paced first person shooters and competitive e-sports titles. The finishes are nice, but a lot of hard plastic and an aluminum scroll wheel. This makes for a very light and very durable mouse with nice lighting effects. The buttons are very tactile and responsive, with the right & left mouse buttons being extremely quick to register. The mouse is very easy to set up, the software is very intuitive and worked with my Dell G7 gaming laptop's lighting controls! Overall, this is a very nice mouse, but not perfect. The hard plastic shell can get slick if your hands sweat and the Bluetooth range is just okay. Styling is nice and the pads are slick, with the real standouts being the aluminum scroll wheel and the under button lighting that brightens when you lift your hand to alert you to where the mouse is! I'd still highly recommend this to someone who plays a lot of Fortnite or COD as it is extremely responsive for both tracking and click registers!

It can butterfly, drag, and jitter click all greatly. Overall a nice mouse, especially the deal on black friday

This mouse is a great mouse for a technique of clicking called drag clicking. Overall light mouse and great for minecraft.

Before this i had a $180 mouse and I returned it seeing I figured I could get something good for alot less. This was on sale for $40 and it is definitely worth the price and the software is simple to use. Now if you purchase this wanting a ham sandwich you will be disappointed and still be hungry!!

So upon first using this mouse while plugged in it’s great because you can download the software from roccat and change and customize your settings to your liking. Like mouse speed, scroll speed, rgb and other settings. But when unplugged and on Bluetooth you have to default to Microsoft mouse system settings…. Very frustrating when you’ve gone and customize all your settings and then you go to unplug when the battery is charged and it defaults to whatever Microsoft mouse settings are. Except for the rgb. While plugged in, the mouse movement is very smooth and accurate. I had no trouble navigating windows and games. But unplugged using 5Ghz only wireless or Bluetooth the mouse cursor is highly inaccurate and hard to navigate windows. I’m always passing up my click point even with the Microsoft mouse system settings. Battery life is about the only good thing here and reliable. So when plugged in, it works great and flawless, but this is a wireless mouse. When off the wire, buggy, inaccurate, and hard to use. Maybe further firmware/software updates will help?…

Great wireless mouse, and in my opinion the best wireless ergo. Fits like a glove and easy to palm or claw. At 72 grams, it's light enough that it feels very snappy to move and the light weight is impressive considering the big ergo frame and RGB to boot. If the price stays at $110, it's a truly great deal!

Really good mouse, few things to note. Main buttons are a bit short and cannot fit 2 fingers very well, but the texture of it is extremely good. Everything else is pretty standard for a mouse of this type.
