      I purchased this HDMI splitter to split HDMI content between a Slingbox 500 and my LCD TV. I needed to connect the Slingbox to the second output, as the reason for purchase was to have the vChip on the TV enable the DRM content on my DirecTV receiver. The Slingbox lost sync continuously with the HDMI signal when connected to the HDMI splitter.

      This does exactly what it says: splits one HDMI coming from the DIRECTV receiver into two lines supplying the same TV program to two separate TV'S in our RV. That way I can watch the same show comfortably in the bedroom, while he sits on the couch in the living room. Perfect! The only thing to note is that as the splitter initially splits or unsplits the signal (turning on or off the 2nd TV) there is a pause in the program. Not a problem though.
