The cable works exactly as promised. No problems with data transmission that I have noticed. The cable was a little more expensive than other options at a big-box home supply store, but Best Buy was more convenient for me, so I cannot gripe too much about the higher cost. (I rated four out of five stars predominantly because of the cost issue. If it performed as well as it has thus far AND was less expensive, five stars may have been warranted.)
