This is just what I was looking for gold is the best conductor. Works great used it to extend a small cable from the wall to the other side of the room.

This connection provided an easy way to extend the length of my cable connection without having to do too much work.

I needed these couplers for when I use my Dish Satellite on my RV Trips. Depending on how many trees may be blocking satellite access to the orbiting satellites, sometimes I need to connect 2 of my coaxial cables together to lengthen where I have to place my Dish satellite receiver to find open sky to connect to the orbiting satellites. I got these Rocketfish adapters after I purchased a couple of Mohu Leaf indoor antennae - which reaquire some moving around (and therefore cord length) in order to get the optimal picture. These adapters allow you to add extra cable to the base Mohu antenna length and work very well.

I purchased an over the air cable receiver but the cable was too short, this adaptor allows you to connect with another cable, then the tv. Works perfectly.

It gets the job done but you might have internet drops depending on what your internet provider uses. These are better than what they use, but because there are different (silver plated to gold) the signal could be interrupted.
