The joycons are too small for racing these wheels help a lot. Make sure you have the buttons lined up on the wheel like the instructions say otherwise the top buttons might not work as well.

Played a bunch of times with my 12-year-old and 10-year-old already and makes Mario Kart feel a lot more like racing. Easy to pop controllers in and out, too. Pretty inexpensive as well.

Broken spring

The only downside is that one steering wheel spring broke on the left button in about 6 months. I will purchase another set and hope for the best that they don't break again.
