The plastic is light and it seems like it’s relatively cheap, but it’s more than adequate for what it’s for and won’t damage the joycons. Price was a steal too.

Great and awesome Joy Con from Best Buy

We just paid 6 $ which is a great deal. Product is very durable, easy to play, compatible with various Nintendo models. It creates lot of fun especially for small ones while playing racers.
