One controller each and you can play multiplayer right out of the box. This was a great add-on when we bought the switch. Construction seems ok and should work well for a long time.

I have not had any issues with this product and believe it works just as well as the name brand.

One of the two items didn’t house the JoyCon all that well so it limited functionality, but the other works fine.
