My 4 year old loves these because it gives him the ability to control the vehicles without having to understand the buttons. Just don't forget to set Mario kart for control tilt in the options menu

Cheap But OK

I bought these for my kids (5 and 2) and they like them well enough BUT I've noticed the L1/R1 buttons feel real spongey. Possibly its just because the plastic/fit is cheaper but its still a good budget option to get 2 of these for your kids.
