When you push the trigger, you are slightly bending a plastic pole. This is what allows the trigger to return upon release, but after enough press/release cycles, the plastic finally broke. They also lack any method to keep the joy con in position, so the joy con can slide during play, which then causes the SL and SR triggers to become unaligned and therefore do not function. It's hard to play any racing game when you can't use the triggers.

We like the feel of having a steering wheel. You just insert the came controllers into the wheel and they are ready to use.
