great for connecting your phone to the TV

It can also be used with other smartphones. Check the package. However, it needs a good internet speed to stream video or you will get a lot of buffering. I use it with Verizon DSL when we are on vacation and it is not good. This is not the fault of the adapter but the lack of speed from DSL.
