I use it to charge almost all products that need a micro usb like our Kindles and cell phones when we are in the car. Just be careful when taking it out of the 12V socket. Pull it by the adapter not the cord. My kids were plugging by the cord and after a while, it pulled apart some. Went back and got 2 more. They are working great. Will probably buy more.

Originally I grabbed a Rocketfish charger from the cell phone department for $20. Then, I saw this charger in the tablet section on clearance for $5. Basically the same charger in different packaging. Works great for my S5.

Does what it is supposed to

The only issue I had was from the pulling on the coiled cord it eventually broke at connection point next to the Kindle. Probably wouldn't break if the cord wasn't constantly stretched. For our purposes I wish it was just a longer straight cord.
