Just take the back off, safely discard and recycle the old batteries, install the new chargeable batteries, turn on controller and sync it to your Xbox. Its that easy

Great price for this item also, I looked all around for this item and cost a lot more at other stores. Only had one in stock but ordered a second one and it was delivered in a matter of a few days.
