    The old rechargables died and needed replacements for both controllers. These work good but I need to take the cover off to recharge them. My old ones did not require this. My a big deal as covers clips on and off easily but I did knock off a star for this...Probably next time I will buy the Xbox ones to ensure a proper fit but these were cheaper and fit the current budget.

    This is a much better option than buying batteries or rechargeable AA batteries. This recharges inside the remote by plugging the remote in which is nice. The downside is the battery life is only a few hours, though thats probably to be expected on the newest microsoft remote. These will likely have to be replaced every couple months and are a little more expensive than i would like.

    This is a good value, and I'd likely buy it again over the microsoft battery. The 2 problems with it are 1) The battery door is a little hard to get on, but then you shouldn't really need to take it off/on much so this is minor 2) The battery life doesn't report correctly via PC or Xbox. When full charge it says "medium" and when plugged in, it says "critical". Just ignore that and it will work perfectly, though.
