They also didn't come with the new backing plate for the controller. The batteries themselves are of good quality though.

It is not possible to charge with a cable plugged into the game remote.

When i plugged it in it wouldn't charge. Then read i had to buy their charger . Not a big deal just wished i had seen that while i was at store

But this is not the case, you will not be able to use the back plate with this battery installed.

I would recommend buying the Rocketfish dock with battery if you intend to charge this without all the extra usb cables, cluttering your drawer.
