After realizing it right outside of the return period, I found other people online with similar problems with this Xbox one rocket fish battery. Will be replacing with different brand charging pack soon.

It fit into the xbox one controller perfectly. However, the battery door for the xbox series controllers don't work with this battery, so keep that in mind.
