    In theory this soundbar mount would be the perfect match for a soundbar that hangs under a flat screen if it weighed in under 5 lbs. The soundbar I mounted under my TV was no more than 10 lbs. After mounting it to the TV and rehanging it I found that the soundbar would slowly start falling out of position. The bottom line here is that I could in no way tighten the mount any tighter without breaking the TV or the soundbar and the mount was incapable of holding the speaker in place. Basically $40 lost on this one.

    Decided that the sound bar was better with it on the mantel and not attached to the bottom of the TV. It might be useful if it the TV to Mantel were a wider space or if mounted on a wall with no mantel/fireplace.

    I purchased a new house and needed new TV's but wanted a very clean, no wires on my walls set up. Went with Samsung TV's and soundbars. These brackets mount to the TV bracket and make the soundbar look like it was part of the TV, ideal for a neat. clean look.
