Packaging is a little much, but these do exactly what they are supposed to do. So if you're mounting a sound bar, get these.

This bracket is very solid and can be used in several ways. Comes with a huge selection of hardware suitable for all setups.

I needed a bracket to hang a small Bose sound bar to a flat screen TV that is mounted on my wall. This worked perfectly!

I purchased this mount to go with my LG 2.1 Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer, as I already have the Rocketfish Tilting Wall Mount for my 42" LG TV. This is a PRICEY mount at $39.99 (Even on sale for $29.99). The soundbar came with a wall mount which could be used with a separate speaker mount. When I pulled the Rocketfish Soundbar Mount out of the box, I was surprised at how much hardware was included (about 16"-20" or more) compared to the space it needed to span (about 4"). I read through the mounting instructions, put everything back in the box, and returned it a few days later. I went to Home Depot and spent around $10 for 2 -8" steel flat braces and some nuts and bolts, which worked perfectly. There MAY be some soundbar/TV configurations for which all this hardware might be necessary. For me, it just wasn't worth the price.

The mount goes on fairly simple. If you can mount a TV to a wall, then you can definitely install this spear mount.

Geek squad did a fantastic job hooking up the sound bar mount to my 70" and mounting the TV and syncing everything together

It is perfect to hold the sound bar directly under the TV
