Weak Support and Poor Design

Maybe they are saying it should be 8 pounds for the PAIR of speakers but that should be made clear. My speakers just sagged all the way down so I tightened the screw harder and the plastic broke. There are much better options online and they are at a comparable price. The ones i found were cheaper.

The remains pieces are now falling off the wall and the speakers they are holding are half the recommended weight.

Supports up to 8lbs...NOT!

The product says it supports up to 8 pounds. Technically, that may be true, as long as as the speaker points down and there is no sideways angle. There is not enough strength to point too far sideways or even at a slightly upward angle. They feel flimsy and as if one gentle touch will send them crashing to the ground. Cranking the set screws down so the joints don't rotate also trashes the plastic channels at the joint, so get it in the right position because if you need to adjust it just a bit, you can't. My speakers now sit at different angles and that's it. Might be fine for tiny speakers, but if your speakers are north of 4lbs avoid.
