What a great little kit! I wanted wi-fi surround speakers because I didn't want to deal with wires, but I also know the quality isn't the same as wired speakers. THIS little item is the solution! Hooked up my rear speakers to this kit and just ran the speaker wire along the back wall to connect the speakers to the signal receiver. Puuuurrrrfect! Now I have fabulous surround sound without wires running all over my living room!

Suitable as replacement of wires connected to the rear/surround speakers. It does not provide the power or deep sound to drive 3-way tower speakers with large woofers. Transmitter and Receiver units need to be manually and individually turned off (optional) when not in use.

This is a hidden gem. I have a new Onkyo receiver and Klipsch speakers. I had the rear speakers wired but those wires I could not run under the floor, so luckily I found this gadget. It’s super easy to install, was up and running in maybe 5 minutes. There is no sound delay, sounds seems to be just as good as when they were wired.

Great for hooking up My speakers that would have required a massive amount of wire to be snaked through attic to reach them. This took all of 15 minutes to place the receiver and run short spans of wire to speakers. Works well with my Sony 5.2 receiver with Polk satellite speakers. The units can be better made but do the job.

I doubted this product at the beginning since it is wireless. But so far it is amazing. Sound is clear from the speakers when connected to these. It reduces unwanted wires going from the rear to the front where my receiver is. I plan to get more of these for my other speaker rooms.

we just moved in to our new home with hard wood floors. In order to place the surround sound speakers I'd have to either drill a hole in my floor and run wire through my crawl space OR find an excellent product like this. It is super easy to use. Power both transmitter and receiver and a short run of wire connects it to the receiver. Works great. Syncing took about 2 seconds.

Satisfied with product, works as advertised. There is a little bit of static that comes through the speakers but that is to be expected. Only noticeable if you hold your ear up to speaker. Realize these are still wired to the receiver, but this allows you to not have a wire between the transmitter at the home theater system and the receiver near where you want your rear speakers.

The Rocketfish wireless rear speaker kit has been around for a few years now. I do not know if there have been any design revisions, but if so, nothing that would be a significant benefit to the consumer. I incorporated this into my 5.2 system. I don't have the space for side placement, so I placed speakers 4 and 5 to the rear of the room and connected via the Rocketfish. It fired up and synced immediately. I cannot detect any loss in audio quality compared to when I previously had these speakers hardwired and placed in the front far corners of the room. I cannot detect any delay. However, when I set up my system with an option that does not emphasize these speakers as much, I do detect a "hollowness." However, I would never use this option. Just discovered it as I was playing around with the options as a new user. As pointed out by many other reviewers, the inclusion of the short speaker wires is a waste. I could not even use these if I placed the transmitter right on top of my AVR case. It is a waste of resources and money to include these. Since this device has been around for awhile but the price has not dropped, I consider it a cash cow. It would behoove Rocketfish to listen to their customers and make this a five star product (in my humble opinion) by embarking on a design revision. I know there have been comments regarding the power staying on unless both the transmitter and receiver are turned off at the mechanical switches. Some have suggested having the devices go into sleep mode if there has not been any use for a certain amount of time. Since the transmitter is receiving input from the AVR, there should be a way to do this. Alternatively, a simple remote could be designed to turn off the devices via the remote as well as adjust volume. All in all, the Rocketfish provides an excellent solution for its intended purpose. I am writing this review after just one day of use, so I will update if I have any issues going forward.

Then this wireless speaker transmitter/ receiver setup is just the ticket for you too! I wanted to add two more speakers to my existing surround sound system for my home theatre but didn’t want to run wires to create that. This wireless kit was a 20 minute installation and works perfect. Granted I’m only talking those two speakers being Bose Cube speakers, but I’m would guess, per the specs for the wireless kit, it would cover the gamut for a better quality speaker set.

I never thought I could make my surround speakers wireless. I used a dvd cleaner disc with audio 5.1 setup to adjust the volume. I used my old Cambridge Soundworks passive surround speakers. The chat told me I needed active speakers which was not true. My wife is very happy we didn't have to run all the wires to the surround speakers. I just watched the Blu-ray version of Twister, WOW!

I purchased these to send an audio signal to a pair of rear speakers without having to run a bunch of wires around the room. They worked perfectly. Installation was very simple and I had it up and running withing 30minutes. Using Bose 901 front speakers, small pair of rear speakers, with a Yamaha 4 channel receiver. I would recommend the Rocketfish to anyone wanting a surround sound audio system without having to run wires all the room.

Some people tell you to stay away from wireless rear speakers, but not this time. I used these to place rear speakers on top of my kitchen cabinets for surround sound in my open floor plan. They are great!! I am now hearing things I never heard before with a better placement for me rear speakers. Again, awesome results for a low price!!!

Got two of these for rear speakers in my 5.1.2 setup. Easy setup. They work well without any noticeable delays or hickups and they put out enough power for the rear channels. I'm doubtful they're powerful enough for front or center speakers so I only have 4 stars. At this price point they should produce more power. They are perfect for surrounds though. Highly recommended.

Great option to get rid of all those speaker wires on the floor! Purchased this with a set of MartinLogan Bookshelf speakers and the combination worked great! Easy to setup and worked like a charm right away. No loss in sound quality that I could tell. Works up to a distance of 100ft. I would highly recommend for those who want to get rid of the speaker wires and make the wife happier!

Plug and play. Easy to set up. No wires to run under baseboards or through walls. Front and rear need to be balanced, depending on effect you want, but that is easy to do. Works best with "stereo" selected for rear channel instead of SR.

These work great for 2 surround back channels. I have had to downsize and am using a passive 5 channel soundbar (DefTech) and wanted to fully utilize the 7 channels but didn't want to run wires. These work perfectly. Distance is probably 20 feet or so and they don't have line of sight. No drops, no connection issues. Only a small latency compensation to be made which YPAO took care of for me through the automatic calibration.
