Good enough

Simple and cost efficient product for avoiding visible cables on your floors. Not completely wireless though . You need to buy speaker wire to connect an included receiver to your rear speakers. The receiver has to be plugged in to an outlet near the speakers,
There is also a transmitter included that is plugged- in to your amp and also requires an outlet. The transmitter emits a signal to the rear speaker receiver strong enough to reach 25 RMS per speaker @ 4 ohms via blue tooth. Good enough for most but not great if you have a really powerful amp. that delivers more RMS and ohms. This product served my needs well but is probably not for the audiophile with a higher powered system.

Works great, but read the instructions carefully

I was about to return this item as non-functional when I stopped and re-read the instructions, which are not the greatest. Turns out that the units worked in the REVERSE of the way I supposed, e.g., transmitter was really the receiver and so forth. Once I had them in their correct place, they immediately linked up. Then I proceeded to balance then in my 7.1 system, which I did manually (the automatic method by Yamaha does not really like them all that much, but this is easily overcome) I now leave them on all the. Time, no need to shut them down. Got rid of some wires in the process!

Great for not so power hungry speakers

I purchased this product in hopes to add rear speakers to my existing ceiling surround sound. The kit works great.
The distance between between the transmitter and receiver is approx. 24ft. I had no interference or static with the sound coming out of the speakers. The setup was very easy.
I decided to return the product as it did not provide enough power to the speakers I wanted to use. It is not Rocketfish’s fault. The advertised wattage is listed in plain sight. I was hoping this would provide a solution without having to attempt to crawl through the attic space, or pulling my carpet up to run wires.
The product works great for its intended purpose. I would recommend to anyone that does not have power hungry speakers.

Had one for 10 years. Worked very well until I broke it while cleaning. So, bought this one again, the same model upgraded version from 10 years ago. Happy with the purchase. Works awesome

When I purchased my Denon receiver 10 years ago, I was unable to add rear speakers to take advantage of 5.1 surround sound. It was not possible to run speaker cables to the rear speakers. This year, Best Buy recommended the Rocketfish Wireless Rear Speaker Kit and use radio frequency. This allowed me to mount the rear speakers and connect them to the receiver component. Both the sender and receiver units are small and inconspicuous. The sound is terrific with no interference from outside sources. A perfect solution for me.

These Work Great For My Surrounds

This is the second Rocketfish wireless speaker kit that I have purchased and is a bit upgraded from the first one I purchased. I use these for surrounds for my smaller gaming/streaming surround sound setup. The original is for my bigger main living room surround sound system. Both the original and these work fine. The only issue that I would have is that both the transmitter and receiver cannot connect with banana plugs, but straight speaker wire. A minor installation inconvience.
Otherwise they do the job nicely. No dropped signals, no hissing, etc. In fact during a good movie or TV show there are times my cats are trying to figure out where that shout or "growl" is coming from, Lol.

I'm super happy with this. Zero lag and it connected right off the bat. The transmitter is behind my TV just on the floor and the receiver is behind the couch. Not one disconnect or problem from it. I should had done this years ago

In setting up the audio/visual setup in the new home decided on adding surround speakers behind the viewing area. This area is a very large basement rec. room and use of in wall speakers was not my first choice. I find the BestBuy associates to be very helpful in providing answers to my questions. When explaining my surround needs I was pointed to the Rocketfish. Easy setup with the connections to the receiver and surround speakers. The sender sets on top the receiver behind wooden doors and the receiver is hidden under the sofa. They are both situated 15 feet from each other. I have no issues with signal or lag time. Nothing better than turning up the volume and firing up "Top Gun"!

One of the best home theater inventions ever!

I've been using Rocketfish Wireless Rear Speaker Kits since 2008. This is truly one of the coolest home theater inventions I've ever seen, mainly because it gives you so much flexibility. You don't have to worry about hard-wiring the surround speakers to your receiver.
I have mine connected to Orb Audio speakers and a Denon receiver. They sound awesome with 5.1 content! Believe me, if you don't have surround speakers right now, you will appreciate them after you get them.
I have no problems with interference despite dozens of Wi-Fi devices in my home. Again, this kit is awesome!

Used with Denon 960H, could not be easier to setup and forget. Unit is about 25 feet away and no lapse is noticed in sound either from cable, Fire stick or Blu-ray. Eliminates wires , small footprint and I leave it powered on all the time. Did have issue with it when trying to use Alexa through phone app with receiver as it picked up 2 signals and would repeat same audio as playing on receiver with a time lapse. Disconnected Alexa from system and just use fire stick to play music (much easier IMO) . Overall great value for what is does and makes setup much cleaner.

I purchased this because we moved into an apartment and had no way to run my rear speaker wires on my surround sound. I really does work very well, I’ve got it connected to two Klipsch surround sound (bookshelf style) speakers and it sounds great. No connection issues, it does it all on its own, and you can adjust the output (volume) of the rear speakers from the little amplifier the speakers connect to. No loss of audio quality, no issues with range, you just have to have a power outlet around the rear speakers to plug in the amplifier, mines all hidden behind the couch so no complaining from the wife about seeing wires.

No more ugly speaker wires!

For some time now, I have been deliberating on buying this wireless speaker kit to replace the ugly speaker wiring that runs under the carpet. Reviews have been really good so took the plunge! Takes about 20 minutes to connect the receiver to the speakers and the transmitter to the AMP receiver. Wireless light on both units were flashing briefly and then a rock solid blue led light on both. Success. Sound coming out of rear speakers is perfect.

Was setting up a game room with surround sound speakers and didn't want to run wires across the room for the rear speakers. This is a great alternative and works perfectly. Literally plug and play using my old Pioneer 7.1 receiver. I don't know the power of the internal wireless receiver's amplifier but they power my Definitive Tech Pro 600 rear speakers very well. Plenty of power that is adjustable too. Once you set the power level to match your front speakers you are good to go. When I raise or lower the volume on the Pioneer the Rocketfish responds similarly as if the speakers were wired directly to my Pioneer.

This works great and is considerably cheaper than the alternatives. One weird issue - when unplugged it omits a high-pitched screen until turned off and back on- odd.
Otherwise, this has been a great addition to my 7.1 by allowing my back speakers to not be physically teathered to the receiver.

Wireless Kit - Easy Install

Have you wanted to make your Rear Speakers wireless? This kit makes it possible! Make sure you use the smaller transmitter box at the receiver and then the Larger Amplifier box where you want the speakers. Also ensure you turn the volume control all the way up on the amplifier side before adjusting or tuning your surround sound.
The unit doesn’t push a lot of power, ideal for bookshelf and subwoofer signal to a powered sub, or rear speakers only

Easy to setup. I bought the previous generation of the same equipment about 12 years ago, and it quit about a year ago. This a really long time, as they stay on all the time!
It was easy to replace the old boxes.
If you have polarized wires, it's a cinch; otherwise, you'll need to mark the wires so as not to get them crossed.
The only buttons are the on/off (in both) and a volume in the receiver (where you connect the rear speakers).
