Wow, I am absolutely amazed at how great this works. I have two Sony passive bookshelf speakers at the rear above my kitchen cabinets. Open floor plan. Connected this to my Sony receiver 7.1. I have jamo speakers. No delay. Full surround effect.

Bought this for my moms house where she just had new book shelf installed. No need to run wires and the sound is exceptionally good.

This thing is great! It has all you need except longer/thicker speaker wire. I had carpet removed and the cords couldn’t go under the hardwood floor, so I got this. Works great

Units very easy to set up and connect! System functions extremely well with my Yamaha amplifier! Surprised that the volume was so great and easy to control, not like other reviews indicated? Would recommend this system for any surround system with rear speakers to far to run wires!

We really like this Rocketfish system. There weren't any reviews when we bought but this is the second one we've had (already have one for our bonus room) and we love them. The wireless part basically means that you can put the speakers behind your sofa when and not have the rear speakers wired to the front, across the room, so it is not a true wireless speaker system. You still will have speaker wire to the speakers, and the rear speakers will be connected to the smaller box, if that makes sense. We like this because we were able to plug it into our tuner and use our existing, nonbluetooth speaker system.
We have an outlet installed under our couch so you can see from the pic that we have the wire behind the couch.
In our bonus room upstairs, with the same layout, you cannot see anything because the couch is up against the wall.

Hello Everyone, this is my second set of Rocketfish rear wireless speaker ability. With just a small amount of 16 gauge speaker wire you will no longer have to hide the wires like I did for years and try to make them look good where there was no where to hide them and if you too went through lots of unnessessary expense on doo-dads to clean up your wiring then buying the Rocketfish kit is a must... Easy set up. Got this as an open box and works great. It can drop signal every now and then, but very minimal. Great solution for those that don't have a way to hide wires for rear speakers. Highly recommend!

Low-cost, two-channel wireless speaker kit; easy to set up; tiny wireless transmitter; integrated wireless receiver with dual 25-watt digital power amplifiers; works with most brands of surround speakers; great sound quality.

Great solution for our "unwired" basement

A simple solution for our basement home theater system since the basement was finished without being prewired. Eliminates the need for wires under the carpeting or being run along the baseboard. The sound is as strong and good as traditional wiring and the price is reasonable. Good choice.

I was very skeptical about this product at first. I did not think that it would stay connected very well, but it has been working great. It appears to work as well as speakers connected with wire. I love it so far.

Wanted to add surround speakers behind my couch but didn't want to run wires across my living room so went to best buy and found this wireless transmitter. Definitely does the job and was affordable. Actually saved me money, time and labor!

Have had one since first released and still working as new. The amplifier allows to tweak settings after receiver does its balance set up. Purchased a new one for another system I just installed in another room. Rocketfish had a wireless kit for a subwoofer which has been discontinued I assume since was unable to find one. SVS has a subwoofer kit which works about the same.
Only down side would be the speaker wire connect which is abit outdated however it works.
Great product.

Works great! Setup was easy and now I can listen to music, movies, and TV with balanced sound. AND the best part is not having to run ugly wires all over the baseboards or under the rug to get sound from my rear speakers!

I was first going to run wires all the way across the room until I found this. The connectivity is great and performance is dead on. The sound quality is no different using this item over direct wire connection.

I was concerned that introducing this kit to my pre-existing wired Bose home theater surround sound system would either degrade the sound quality or add a delay. Fortunately, the sound quality exceeds expectations across the board. It sounds great. My only complaint is that the rear surround speaker cables included with the kit are very short, less than two feet on either side. In order to integrate the kit with my home theater system I had to purchase a separate package of speaker wires and a wire stripper to connect those new cables to all of the pieces, but once I got them hooked up, they worked just as advertised.

Pretty happy with this purchase. I needed to get a signal to my rear speakers about 25 feet away from the home theater receiver. Easy setup, easy pairing, and great sound. This product is a little overpriced for what it does, but it does it well.

These are great! I have them for both of my back surround sound speakers. I don't have to run any wires to my front receiver. I don't recommend using them for the front or center channels, but are perfect for the back sound.
