It's great to hear the old hits when I was a kid. Great movie! I saw it twice at the theatre. The only thing I didn't like was trying to figure out how to playback where you ended watching it. I don't think my blu-ray has that capability. I'll test it with the DVD.

Even better than I expected. A biopic of Elton John featuring music you'll love and a really good story about the singer. I must say I'm impressed by Taron's acting and singing chops. A must have for any Elton fan or even if you're just curious about his early years.

Songs are sung and history is re-imagined. My niece got ill while watching, though it probably wasn't related.

I gave this movie a good rating as it touched me. It was nothing what I thought it would be but I see Elton John in a whole new light. I felt super bad for him regarding his upbringing. It is a good example that you can pursue your dreams and be yourself in spite of others. i.e. his terrible family and some bad so called friends.

This isn't so much a biography with musical performances, like "Bohemian Rhapsody", but plays as more of a "Stage Musical" with elaborate numbers. Excellent performance by Taron Egerton, doing his own signing.

I still need to watch the extras, but thoroughly enjoyed the feature. We learned a lot about him. There was a lot that we didn't realize about his life. I will definitely be watching it again, hopefully I'll make time for the extras, then watch the movie again. Great music, definitely deserved the award. Made me want to listen to more Elton John tunes.

Movie was hard to follow, Bohemian Rhapsody was much more straight forward and you knew what you watched.

I LOVED this movie, and the Steelbook was a must have. It’s soundtrack and messages really resonate with people. Elton John’s story was extremely inspirational, and the take they did with it was extraordinarily. I truly loved this movie, and would recommend it to EVERYONE.

I had never listened to any Elton John’s music but watching Rocketman made me fall in love with his music. I love watching his story and everything that he went through.

I am not a huge Elton John fan but Taron Edgerton being cast to play him is dead on! The way they set the film to his music is unique, and it feels like a rock opera while watching it. This was the movie I looked forward to most in 2019 and it did not disappoint!

I was this movie at the theaters out here and I thought that it was an O,K, type of move out here.

Loved this movie, was surprised at first that is was a musical style, but love musicals so it worked out. Should have known it would be like this because of Pinball Wizard, etc. recommend this movie to anyone who likes Elton John.

I wasn't sure if my family would like it since it's a musical, but is was a success. It was done in a way that even the ones who are usually annoyed by musicals still enjoyed it. The music and story were great. I enjoy Elton John's music even more now.

I saw this movie on Prime and was blown away. While I’m not an Elton John fan, it is an incredibly touching saga played by an exceptional actor. So, I decided to add it to my growing Blu-ray collection.

ROCKETMAN WAS A WONDERFUL LOOK INTO THE LIFE OF ELTON JOHN. IF YOU ARE A FAN OF HIS MUSIC, THIS FILM IS A MUST! IT IS INTERESTING TO DISCOVER WHAT HE WENT THROUGH TO GET TO WHERE HE IS TODAY. GREAT ACTING AND GREAT PRODUCING! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

elton insisted in keeping the R rating, had it been PG more people would have seen it in theatres

After the Freddy Mercury movie we expected this film would be awesome, We were very disappointed

After seeing Bohemian Rhapsody, I had high hopes for the Elton John movie. The lead actor and supporting cast were fantastic! The music was amazing (of course) but the way the movie was laid out and the timeline shown was superb. A must watch for music lovers!

I absolutely love Elton John. I did't know what to expect when I purchased this movie. It definitely is uniquely put together and produced. I learned a lot about Sir Elton's life that I didn't realize happened to him in his early years.

I can always find a good sale price on a 4K at Best Buy store or on-line. ROCKETMAN was a great buy to add to my collection. So many people streaming, including myself, i still like a good movie night of my choice!
