I loved the previous Star Wars movie. I waited this long to buy/watch Rogue One. I guess I didn't realize it was set before the very first Star Wars (1977) until the very end. I'll say Rogue One starts out a little slow, but the action picks up about 1/2 way through and never lets up. By far, the most violent of all the Star Wars movies, but not in a bad way. Just a lot of battle scenes. The computer generated General Tarkin is a little weird, but cool I suppose. Overall, a must-see for die hard SW fans, but a "meh" for non sci-fi movie folks.

This movie is amazing. I'll admit when I first heard this was in production, I was more than skeptical. Luckily under the casts marvelous performance and Gareth Edwards direction, this film became a must in my Star Wars timeline. The steel case is quite durable and unique to any other version of the film.

Better than The Force Awakens. Not constantly paying tribute to original like previous film, but still ties into original as well as Rebels. Great acting from leads. Breaks the traditional Star Wars mold a bit yet still feels like part of the family. Hope next films try to meet or beat this films quality.

Very good Star Wars movie. Great space battles and land battles. Love all the matching star wars releases with the black slip covers and art work. No special features but I don't care, I usually watch them once and never again anyway.

I loved Rogue One. I thought it was a great prequel to IV. But I'll keep my review to the Best Buy steelbook exclusive. This is a really nice set - blu ray, 3D, and DVD; digital redemption to my Google Play account was simple. The steelbook is great with a really nice image of death troopers on the front.

Great job of picking up the storyline between the Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. They could have found a few better actors for some of the parts, which I didn't understand considering how much money this film was going to make, but all-in-all...it's a good movie and worth adding to your collection.

I loved this movie. It made me happy and sad. I cried and cheered. It was a heroic movie with great graphics and cinematography, wonderful characters with some humor and tragedy and full of adventure and heroics. Great explanation of how Leia and the resistance got the plans to destroy the Death Star.

Being a star wars fan, I will always love anything related to star wars. This movie met a lot of expectations and although modern in terms of effects and sound, sticks and matches perfectly with the star wars original story and fills a gap between Episode 3 and Episode 4. A must have for your collection!

All characters are fully realized and have complete character arcs. The weight of the world around them is palpable and genuinely unpredictable. The story offers emotional investment even to the newest fan. Both tragic and inspirational. A rarity for action or science fiction and this has plenty of both.

Disney does a good job with Star Wars when its not involving Skywalkers directly.

What an unexpected surprise with Rogue One. The movie was fantastic and can arguably be better than the Force Awakens. I am glad we are starting to learn more about the Star Wars universe with a new movie coming each year. The steelbook is also very nice and adds to my collection. Highly recommend.

SW: Rogue One is one of the finest chapters in the Star Wars universe. I chose the Steel Book edition offered exclusively from Best Buy because of the bonus content and the amazing price for what I received. Best Buy is always my first choice when it comes to movies, gaming, electronics, appliances, etc.

This is a great time to be a Star Wars fan! Although Rouge One doesn’t have the same “feel” as the original 7 episodes, it does an awesome job fitting in the Star Wars universe and explaining some of the original story points. I’m excited to see where Disney goes with the next two...Han and Kenobi!

I'm a star wars geek and what surprised me about this movie is that, a star wars movie can be great without the light sabers. Well theirs only one scene with one but still, 99% percent of the movie without light sabers or the force. Great movie all around and the characters are memorable.

I have seen every Star Wars movie on opening weekend since 1977. And i keep the tradition with my son, since EP1. This movie has a great tie in with EP 4. I love the use of characters. Its a great story. Keep in mind that if you have not seen Ep 4,5,6, Ep 1,2,3 in this order, you might be a little lost.

This is a really nice Star Wars movie that supplies answers to how things started for Episode IV. They did a great job re-creating old familiar characters and there weren't any annoying fuzzy, cute creatures to deal with! Our old buddy Darth Vader is in fine, butt-kicking form as well. Yikes! Great job!

This movie is the best of the Disney era Star Wars films. It stays true to the overall myths (although I hate the way the change hyperspace and how it works and the giant plot holes those changes open up in the original trilogy). Highly recommended.

Gareth Edwards produced a great fan film set in the Star Wars universe. For the most part, the aesthetic matches the original trilogy, but it's ending gets away from Edwards, which toes the line of becoming a fan fiction story. It does however succeed in doing what George Lucas hoped to accomplish with the prequels, which was to craft a compelling story out of familiar events. "Rouge One" paints the Rebel Allience in shades of grey, which really puts the war in Star Wars. Pick this one and see what it's like being on the front lines of this galactic war.

This film finally added the grit that the Star Wars films never got around to including. It's a time of war and there are undertones of darkness that is the Empire throughout this movie. It's a little depressing but overall, I think it really adds a LOT to the SW universe. And that Vader scene.... wow.

If you are a Star Wars fan (especially the original) then you will love this movie. It is great! The casting is excellent and the story fits perfectly in Star Wars universe. It is worth seeing just for the Vader scene alone! Not to mention that is resolves perhaps the biggest plot hole in the franchise.
