I first saw Rogue One in theaters and really enjoyed it, so I couldn't wait for the BluRay release. In my opinion, Rogue One ranks #3 in order of the best Star Wars film to worst (with Empire being #1, and Star Wars #2), My daughter thought it started a bit slow and I could understand her point, but I was completely engrossed in the film the whole time. The action especially picks up toward the end.. The story takes place before the events of Star Wars Episode 4 (the original) and details the adventures that led to the Rebellion obtaining the plans to the Death Star. My only complaint about the film was the extensive use of the younger CGI versions of characters from the original Star Wars. I can see the necessity for them in some scenes, but they appeared too fake on the big screen. (Although the small screen is a little more forgiving.) Nevertheless, Rogue One is a must buy movie for sure!

Not the best Star Wars movie of all time, but it is right on par with the rest of the series. Our family loves the whole story line and the universe with which we experience Star Wars.

I enjoyed this movie more than episode 7 (and of course episodes 1,2, and 3). This movie brings everything together. It ties Star Wars: Rebels to the main movies, as well as answers the question of how they got the original Death Star plans. But don't worry, if you only watch the main movies, you will still find this to be very enjoyable. If you are a Star Wars fan that watches more than the mainstream movies, you will love some of the Easter eggs that are in the movie. I highly recommend searching the web for the Easter eggs before watching this film (again). The CG that they did to bring Grand Moff Tarkin and Princess Leia into this film was fantastic. There is a special feature that goes behind the scenes on creating these two characters. I recommend watching that too. I hope Lucasfilm will do other movies that fills in some of the gaps, and they are as well done as this movie.

Interesting story about the Death Star and the attack to destroy it.

The Star Wars episodes go on again and this lives up to the hype.

This is a great movie and a great story. This fills in a few of the blanks in the story just before Star Wars Episode IV, and it ties it together flawlessly. Highly recommend for any fan of Star Wars.

Great story for Star Wars fans and good all the way up till the end

Great movie....but prefer the steelbook. 4K transfer is nice Audio excellent

This series really needs no introduction, and chances are that if you've watching the original Star Wars at least once, you know what Rogue One is about. Short short version: Trying to get the Death Star plans. Obviously, a lot of what this builds up to is already known, but it's more of a matter of what leads up to the original movie's main goal. Needless to say it's one of the darker films, but it still has a bit of fun along the way. This movie is being hyped as better than even Empire Strikes Back, and while I don't think I can it tops that, this is still very good film, and you owe it to yourself to give it a watch if you consider yourself a Star Wars fan in any regard. Like my summary says, it does start off a tad slow, but it quickly picks up speed once the main crew of rebels start assembling. Grab yourself a copy, pop up some popcorn, and may the Force be with you.

This movie is truly an instant classic and answers the question of just how the rebels got the blueprints of the Death Star in the first place. A must for any Star Wars fan.

Terrific refresh of the Star Wars saga. Enjoyed it immensely
