This is so far the last of the good star wars movies. It beyond that of the Last Jedi and Solo. It was not necessary but did enhance the original trilogy and shows of the war in this universe quite well.

Personally I love this movie but I realize that this is not the Star Wars movie hat most will seek. It's a dark story and there is not a lot of familiar things such as the Jedi. In my opinion this is a much stronger film than Force Awakens. What you do get is a great spy/war story that just so happens to be Star Wars related. The package presented is in a beautiful steel book that included the 3-D version of the movie.

This movie stood up to the usual Star Wars hoopla. The characters were interesting, and the action nonstop. I especially enjoyed the Android voiced by Alan Tudyk. If you are a Star Wars fan, don't miss this standalone movie.

An intimidating villain, likeable characters, and a simple story elevated this movie above any sequel movies coming out today. This baffles me since Disney has made all three of these movies, what went wrong guys?

This is one of the best Star Wars movies... For the few who have yet to watch this one, it is time!! You won't be disappointed. You have to have watched the original '77 Star Wars to appreciate the final battle of this film.

I was a little nervous about watching some type of 'spin off' but I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed the movie. It carried things well. I was also surprised at seeing how much certain characters were in the movie.

The back story of "a new hope" episode, loved it, really filled in the blanks. We sat down as a family and had a great evening. Digital copy great for when we are traveling and have internet, kids, grandkids, we all love it.

I wasn't too sure about this release after seeing Awakening. The backstory and action in this film was done really well! Even if you haven't seen any Star Wars films you can still follow along and really enjoy it's universe!

This is a "prequel" of sorts telling how the rebellion came to acquire the death star plans that leads to the action of the original Star Wars movies. Excellent looking picture with terrific graphics and effects. Good story.

With Disney not on the UHD Bluray bandwagon yet, 1080p is going to be the best that we can get. Between this and the Target exclusive, the Best Buy steelbook is the way to go. The extra disc from Target is DVD (not Blu-Ray).

This movie takes place before the events of Star Was: A New Hope. This movie was intended to explain what went on with another rebel team as the other events were going on. I highly recommend this movie to any Star Wars fan.

It was entertaining from beginning to end. I think I will be in to purchase the other Star Wars movies that I don't own. Best Buy seems to have the best prices on their movies so I know I will shop there for my next purchase

Do people know what's going to happen? Yes. But seeing how the plans were taken and that story line was great. It flows right into a New Hope and makes you realize that's what happened and how the start of A New Hope begins.

The movie is great. Takes me back to the time I first watched episode IV as a kid. I love the fact that they brought back governor Tarkin. Only disappointment is the lack of deleted scenes or alternative Vader sequences.

Rogue One is among the Greatest Star Wars-films ! The Blu-ray delivers outstanding video and audio ! Best Buy had it at a Great Price on Release Day ! Thank you, Best Buy

Got this as a gift for a friend. Fellow Star Wars geek. He tore into the package immediately & downloaded the digital copy right after putting the blu-ray into the player. Fantastic story in an ever expanding universe!

The movie was perfect as a prequel to the original Star War movies as it provided the viewer with how the rebels got the Death Star plans. As for the SteelBook, it was perfect as it had both the 3D and regular Blu-ray in it.

Who isn’t excited by the new Star Wars movies? Hold on to your seats, as Rogue One takes you down an unexpected path and connects you with new characters, that perfectly snap in between the old and the new story lines.

I feel like I've been waiting for this movie my whole life. It's Star Wars, what more can I really tell you. Either you're gonna love it, or you can send it to the spice mines of Kessel or smash it into who knows what. lol

This atypical Star Wars movie provides a much needed explanation of the events leading up to the first Star Wars movie-Episode 4. . It was a welcome and exciting deviation of the traditional Star Wars movies. Well done.
