I have been waiting for a new Star Wars movie for what seems a very long time. This movie is a excursion off to the side of the main Star Wars story. Some of the CG scenes were borrowed from previous SW movies, with slight alterations to the ships and visuals. Despite this, I did enjoy the movie, and my grandchildren wanted to see the entire saga, so I complied.

I couldn't believe how well this movie clarified what was in Star Wars IV. I can't think of any negative comments for this movie. Even the humorous bits were welcome . Definitely a keeper.

I loved this movie in the theater! And when I saw the Steelbook in the ad, I knew I had to have it. The artwork and quality of the packaging is fantastic. I couldn't ask for anything more.

Rogue one is my third favorite movie of all of the star Wars movies so far and it contains the best scene in all of Star Wars, hands down. Purchased the steel book on day one. Great movie!

Just how did Princess Leia get the plans for THE DEATH STAR from THE IMPERIAL EMPIRE? HOW?!? I love how ROGUE ONE tells us how a group of REBELS bravely and heroically band together when they learn of The Empire's most lethal and destructive weapon ever built and successfully raid an Imperial base and... JUST WATCH IT AND HAVE FUN WITH THE TIE-INS TO A NEW HOPE!!!

This movie is about the ten minutes before Episode IV. Literally. It's good though, No Jedi, No Sith. Darth Vader's in it just to look cool though. Some of the best scenes, they are.

This was a good stand on its own movie. I can't say too much without accidently spoiling the movie. I enjoyed the droids in the movie and the action is on par with other Star Wars movies.

The package came as expected, on time and in excellent condition. Rogue One is an awesome return to the Star Wars Universe.

The Blu-ray disc comes with a second behind-the-scenes blu-ray disc documenting the making of Rogue 1. The package also came with a DVD-version of the movie as well as a digital download.

A great idea to tell the story of how the rebellion stole the Death Star plans. This is one of the greatest Star Wars movies ever made. Well acted, and the special effects were amazing.

What nice about this movie is that you do now have to have seen the other movies to see this one. It stands alone, but still is there for the star wars fans that know about what going on.

Star Wars! I've been following the saga since the 70s. I will say, this movie is much better than the Force Awakens. The story brings you right into the first movie, A New Hope. Loved it!

For a film based on scrolling graphics and a line of dialog in the film that started it all . . . great job! It feels like the characters are in real places not just on a stage somewhere.

This movie is a great tie in that connects the prequels and the original trilogy. I'd say that this is more of a war movie than a star wars one. Any star wars fan should watch this movie.

Cinematography and special effects were enjoyable. As stated elsewhere, the character development was "thin" with a multitude of characters "popping up" without any description of their importance too the story. It was as if you missed the prologue or had to do your homework and watch the TV cartoons or read the magazines and comics to know who each character was.

Great idea to mix in this "non-episodic" movie - fits between episodes 3 and 4. Shows how a group of rebels stole the planes for the Death Star, which Luke Skywalker blew up in episode 4.

Perhaps the greatest spin off film in history! Fantastically done and incredible !! This film can stand alone apart from the Star Wars franchise and still be meaningful and a great story.

I thought this was a great movie. Also the steel book version is the only one without mistakes on the cover art (both the standard blu-ray and DVD have mistakes, see if you can spot them)

Blueray works great. Love the fact it includes the digital copy so it can be played from any device. The movie was entertaining. Not the best Star Wars ever but certainly not a bad movie.

The steel case for this is really nice and you probably already know that the movie is pretty great. The 3d blu-ray is a nice addition and worth the extra money if you have the equipment.
