A great movie with fantastic sound and wonderful picture to boot.

Beautiful 4k disc. Even better than the already great Blu-ray.

Great Star Wars film. It plays out more like war movie, than a space opera.

Another well written & performed episode in the Star Wars saga. (Better than the ones put out after the 3 originals!) The movie as well as the video set are terrific, especially with the inclusion of 3D! I now Look forward to the next episode of Star Wars, as it seems they are back on track. And of course, we will see & buy it automatically if the story line is good and it is released in decently shot 3D! (It was good even without the 3D!)

This is easily mine and my children's (aged 11 and 14 years old) favorite movie of the newest addition of movies to the Star Wars franchise. The blu-ray disc is good quality and everything works just fine. We have never used the digital copy...it seems kind of pointless but comes with the blu-ray. I am so happy to add this to our Star Wars collection!

Rogue One is an amazing Star Wars movie, and it looks great in blu ray. The only thing disappointing is the special features. No full feature documentary and no deleted scenes, only a few mini docs/vids. While these were very interesting, I would have preferred a real documentary and deleted scenes to complement the mini docs, similar to the prequel trilogy blu rays. All versions of this movie have the same special features, not just this one, FYI.

I've heard alot of mixed reviews about this movie. I'm a HUGE fan of the original movies. This one stands on its own. It is different from the series originial 9 movies (7 that are out). But man, what a story. And how it ties Episode III into Episode IV is awesome. After watching this, i had to watch A New Hope (Episode IV), and it almost seamlessly tied in. Picture and surround sound on my 4K was amazing! Special affects are great, as always.

Rogue One is a prequel to the first Star Wars movie (Episode IV). I bought this version from Best Buy because it was one of the few available that offered 3D. The movie starts off a bit slow, but about half way through the movie it starts to pick up. It has some humor, X-Wing vs Tie Fighter battles, and a few cameos by familiar faces from past (older Star Wars) movies. However, I was expecting a bit more out of the movie. I guess the hype set my bar of expectations high going into the movie. If you're looking for an epic light saber battle, you'll be disappointed as there is none. Also, while the space battle was great, I was hoping for the heroine to show off some mad-piloting skills in a grand space battle. Sadly, this was missing from the movie as well. Overall, it was a good movie and am glad I made the purchase.

One of the better Disney-era Star Wars films for sure! Looks great in 4K!

Excited that the video and audio quality are maintained, even on a lower-quality television. The movie itself was well done not only as a stand-alone film but where its ending meshes almost seamlessly into Episode IV, A New Hope. You do care about the characters, and even though you "know" how the ending must be, you keep hoping that something might change. The acting and effects work well together. Altogether loved the movie and glad to own it.

One of the best of the new Star Wars movies! Highly recommend!

I was very pleasantly surprised by this one. I fully expected this sequel just to be a money grab designed to milk the loyal Star Wars fans out of more money. I was very, very wrong. This film is a worthy sequel in the new/old Star Wars universe adding many new memorable characters in a very big way. The CGI is incredible and on a large flat panel display you'll be winging your way to a Galaxy Far Far Away in no time at all at 1080P or higher.

Thoroughly enjoyable film w/ clear story line and well-paced action. 3D disc is just 3D enough w/out being too gimmicky. DVD & BluRay discs both play well. Packaging is adequate. Volumes have been written about this film's place in the star wars galaxy. Basically, fans of the franchise can compartmentalize this movie as a stand-alone AND/OR focus on the visual and verbal connections to previous films. Both work for Star Wars fans of all ages.

I'm not sure if I am supposed to review the movie or the SteelBook packaging. Briefly, I like them both. I liked the movie a lot. A lot more than I thought I would. Being an old Star Wars fan(age 19 in 1977)(Yes I saw it at the Chinese Theater), nothing can top the originals, but I think this comes close. Closer that The Force Awakens. As for the SteelBook, I only buy them for movies I love. I don't think it's worth the extra money otherwise.

Unsurprisingly, with the Star Wars saga safely of George Lucas' hands, the talented writers and directors who have been Star Wars geeks since childhood have been able to give us a killer film that has some great new ideas and not TOO many nods to the old films. The new characters are very well thought out and everything ties nicely to A New Hope. Will this convert a non-Star Wars fan? Hard to say... To me, it's totally worth a watch either way.

I will not bore the reviewers with my thoughts on Rogue One. I purchased the Blu-Ray on the first day of release so that sums up my thoughts. Glad I purchased the steelbook edition. Best Buy is really onto something with these special cases. As for the BR discs themselves, they play great on my modest wide screen; the picture is clear and the sound is crisp. I've been waiting to watch Rogue One in my home after seeing it twice in the theaters!
