As I watched this movie I recognized characters from the original Star Wars movie. And it was cool to see them again, it was like George Lucas had envisioned it to be. They did the Star Wars Movie justice. I was blown away from all the visual effects. The movie was great from start to finish. I can't wait until I watch it again and again, great addition to my Star Wars collection.

Firstly, the movie, brilliant, it answers so many questions, especially who was stupid enough to leave such a devastatingly fatal flaw in the design of the Death Star, and also getting to see Darth Vader as the person we were all afraid of when growing up. The steelbook is nice, good design and I like the embossed front. Even with 4 discs, doesn't take up any extra space. 10/10

Fantastic movie! This is a great story that fits in well with the Star Wars movie saga as the 4tth movie, if you are keeping track of the story line. All the special effects cgi's were similar to some of the early made Star Wars movies which made it seem like it was produced many years ago. Quality entertainment for the whole family on a movie night. Be sure not to miss this one.

Star Wars: Rogue One is an excellent side story movie that fills in the gaps between episodes three and four. No spoilers here...just a brief plot description: ever wonder how the Death Star plans made it into the Rebel Alliance's hands? This movie tells that story. It's a bit more harsh then the other Star Wars movies but still keeps on track with the quality of the film series.

Huge Star Wars fan so this was a must buy for me but was extremely happy with purchase. Loved the movie have watched blu ray twice now and 3d version once and am sure will watch many more times. Great price on this steelbook which had the 3d version, blu ray, regular dvd and bonus download. Highly recommend this and if even if you only like Star Wars a little this is a must have!

First you have to let go of the main Star Wars characters and just go with this one as if this movie and actors are the first. I found this movie is done well, the actors are good, the action is great, and the story line ties directly into #4. If you do not watch this movie on a big screen with big sound then you are missing the what the creators wanted you to see and experience.

Rogue One is the best Star Wars movie since Empire and one could argue as good as that. Granted, it benefits from Lucas’s original story but creates a very convincing prequel to A New Hope. The ending gave me chills. Great acting. The Blu Ray does the movie justice. Probs gonna have to upgrade to 4K (sigh)

I would say that this is the only good star wars movie of the new ones. Maybe paired with solo but this one has a more serious tone because it has what happened before episode 4 and after episode 3 and that is in important piece of story in star wars movies.

A very good movie that tells the untold story of how the detailed plans of the Death Star were obtained. I was not sure of how a "Star Wars" movie wad going to be without the core characters that we have come to depend on in the Star Wars universe, but they were able to pull off a good movie that kept you engaged and provided a lot of back story to the original movie (New Hope).

George Lucas not only redefined the sci-fi genre, but created an entire Universe that has been ever expanding these past 40 years. Rogue One is a brilliant stand alone movie that easily ties into the "main" three trilogies of the Star Wars Universe. The Blu-Ray edition has great extras, vignettes on the story development, the cast and the effects done to bring the story to life.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was really quite good at the writing of this storyline. They bring you up to date with the Star Wars: A New Hope chapter 4 a few minutes before that movie/story starts with Princess Leia. I am not a fan of long battle scenes but I guess they felt they needed to fill some time. This is still another movie/story to add to your "Star Wars" collections.

I loved this movie in the theater, and love it even more at home! It's a worthy addition to the Star Wars universe, and tells a great story. The beginning feels a bit rushed, but that's payed off by a great climax and ending. The Blu-Ray edition has some great bonus features that really inform the making of the movie and the behind-the-scenes information. Highly recommended!!!

"Rogue One" is the story leading up to the original Star Wars movie, "A New Hope". In "Rogue One", we get to see how the Rebel Alliance stole the plans to the Death Star. But more importantly, we get to meet the people who did it. This movie offers an engaging ensemble cast of characters that will inspire you with their perseverance and courage. Don't miss this story!

No Star Wars film comes close to the amazing power and feel that this gives. The buildup to A New Hope really is unprecedented and makes this "stand-alone" film nearly more important than I, II, and III all combined. This is a must see. As for the steelbook, absolutely beautiful and well made. Bluray in the front where it needs to be and no flaws on any disc. 100% happy buy!

Excellent side-story that provides background information regarding the Empire's ultimate weapon: The Death Star. This story of the crew that stole the plans to the space station and their journey to get those plans into the hands of the Rebel Alliance (specifically Princess Leia). An exciting romp that shows the galaxy from a different perspective!

I love how Disney has tied in rogue one to fill in the gaps between the original star wars trilogy and answer some unanswered questions from the original trilogy such as how did they ever get the plans for the death star.rogue one is the true suicide squad and this blu ray package is the best that is offered through best buy.i strongly recommend

There was some time lapse between seeing the movie in the theaters and then purchasing it for home use. I had forgotten most of the movie and then confused myself between it and the first installment of the 3rd trilogy. Both have strong female leads who are orphaned. Against all odds our heroine will risk life and limb and find out that down deep she really is Rouge One.

happier that the price was a more reasonable week 1 price of $24.99, which was a steelbook including the 3D Blu Ray. THIS is the way to do it. I still haven't bought Force Awakens 3D Blu because I already bought the Blu Ray on release week nearly a year before the 3D version was released. THIS is why sales are poor on 3D titles. Keep 3D priced reasonably and they will sell.

It was actually somewhat refreshing to not see those yellow scrolling words to open up this movie, as nostalgic as they are. From the very beginning you could tell this movie was trying to come from a different angle than the others. The final scene where Darth Vader makes a grand entrance may be one of the finest moments in the entire Star Wars franchise. Highly recommend.

This is another great movie in the Star Wars franchise. This is another of those fill in the holes between the other movies. It serves its role well and is very enjoyable. We saw it at the theater when it first came out so we already knew what it was about. For a first time viewer it will have a couple of unexpected twists. I would highly recommend it for any Star Wars fan.
